8 reviews for Colorescience Total Eye Concentrate Serum .27fl oz. for dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles, & dehydration

  1. CA Central Coast Buyer

I use this product by Colorscience faithfully and love the results.

  2. heavenfalls

I was in need of a no-nonsense eye Serum when this Total Eye Concentrate by Colorescience turned up, and I am pleased as peas to have it.

So far I have been using this serum for almost 2 weeks and I’m actually getting good results from it. I like the rollerball applicator because I keep this product in a small refrigerator and the coolness of the metal ball is refreshing. It dispenses well, and works even better if you shake it first, which I neglected to do the first few times.

The serum is colorless and odorless, it feels non oily and will absorb completely leaving no trace on my skin. If I put it on before bedtime, there will be no puffiness under my eyes when I wake up. This is a welcome change from having to put patches under my eyes in the morning to get rid of the puffiness.

Other than that I have not noticed any big changes, although the crepey skin on my upper eyelids is looking a bit smoother. I am looking forward to what else this nice little formulation has in store for me with more prolonged use.

This serum has all the necessary ingredients to do what it promises to do, and contains nothing that I don’t want to put on my skin… No parabens, sulfates, fragrance, drying alcohols, silicones, or acrylates. I am thrilled with this product because it is hard to find something that actually has promise of working without containing ingredients that are either bad for me or bad for the environment.

When I ordered this Total Eye Concentrate it was selling for $62. In my opinion it is an excellent formulation and worth every penny.

  3. Rag Doll

This eye concentrate serum from Colorescience is incredibly premium and features tocopherol as well as betaine to help with puffy dark eye bags. The ingredients also feature a host of botanicals that work well with each other to tighten the eye area. I like that this is a glass rollerball and it is best stored in the fridge. Using it when refrigerated creates an instant cooling effect when rolling the odourless serum on my undereye area.

The effects are noticeable from day one. My eye bags tighten and shrink and by day three, the dark circles are much less noticeable. 🙂 This is incredibly pricey but the results do speak for themselves as they are very quick. After a week, my eye area had tightened up considerably. There is no smell to this and it doesn’t burn so it feels rather soothing to use.

I think overall, if you have the money to splurge, this is a very nice eye serum as it reduces eye bags quickly. I like it but only recommend it to those looking for a luxury eye serum.

  4. slsdi

This product is labeled as a premium brand by amazon and so it the price. I’ve tried this for a couple week and I can say that it’s working as it has reduced showings of my eye bags. Now price wise and considering it’s only 0.27 fl oz, it’s a little steep for $60+ but if it claims better ingredients and potency, it’s probably worth it.

I may need to try it longer to really see the difference. I’ll update this review as needed.

  5. heavenfalls

The ingredients in this formula are great. It has ingredients that hydrate, plus it has a peptide that has shown promise in limited studies.

The roller application (shake before use) is cooling even if you don’t store it in the fridge, but it’s extra soothing if you do. While it would be tempting for me to leave it in the fridge, it has a small form factor (lipstick size) that makes it easy to keep it in my purse for on-the-go hydration. It’s also fragrance-free, which is perfect for a product that goes near my eyes. It absorbs quickly, too.

I did not notice a difference in darker under eye discoloration. As with any hydrating product, it can help wrinkle appearance, but the effect is quite subtle. Over time, and with regular use, the peptide in this should help improve wrinkle appearance (or at least slow down new/deeper wrinkles).

This would be a full 5 star product except for the price, but the small form factor and ingredients mean this product is great for those who have the budget to buy it.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Panthenol, Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract, Sea Water, Betaine, Dunaliella Salina Extract, Asparagopsis Armata Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Hydrolyzed Algin, Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract, Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract, Sucrose, Darutoside, Pantolactone, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate

    Great product

  7. Scowling Camel

Objectively, I can say that I like the feel of the cool, metal applicator ball under my eyes. It’s refreshing & makes for an enjoyable experience. I also like the feel of the liquid product itself: It’s not sticky, there’s no fragrance to it (added or inherent from the ingredients present).

Thought the bottle itself is made of ceramic, I’m scared that this is going to fall from my medicine cabinet & break, as it tips over easily.

As far as it’s effectiveness to it, I can’t really say for sure. I don’t have bags or puffy eyes – only dark circles and even then, it’s not too bad.

No one can seem to notice a difference – myself included.

Overall, it’s just OK in my opinion. Everyone is different: their skin chemistry & how their eyes + surrounding areas look – so this might be more effective for you than it was for me.

    3/5

This roller works very well at reducing puffiness and dark circles under eyes. It is simple and easy to use. This is a soothing process that provides quick relief for puffiness and helps diminish the appearance of dark circles under eyes.
