This replacement is similar, not identical. But, used “sparingly”, I like it even better.Great for creating texture in my short, gray hair. Too much, though, weighs hair down, so sparingly is the operative word.

I use this to give my hair some body, lift and give it a piecey look. I do finish it up with hair spray. Holds all night or day.
But it fell on my bathroom floor and the container top broke off and now I have to keep it in a plastic bag which is very messy. They should make a better container or go back to the old kind of plastic container.

I have used this product for several years now and love it. I had used Purerology’s version that was discontinued and thankfully found this one because it is virtually the same. I have a hairstyle that needs texture built in and this product isn’t too heavy, very workable, doesn’t dry my hair out and holds throughout the day. The scent is divine!!
