This mousse is impressive at first impression. I have fine, thin hair. It’s wavy/curly and depending on how it’s dried it can look nice and full of volume or flat and sad.
This mousse worked really well to add volume to my hair while drying with a diffuser.
The sprayer is unlike any mousse I have used before and there is a bit of a learning curve as it puts out a lot of product.
Now for the longevity of the mousse. I can tell even a day later that there is more “texture” to my hair where it was applied but a lot of the volume sinks before the day is over. I would say I get good volume for about 6 hours. So it is close to a full workday, which is decent.
I have oily hair and a lot of sebum build up issues. I usually can not use product without my scalp turning into a greasy mess a couple hours later.
I did not have that issue with this mousse. It almost has a dry shampoo feel to it.
I can not speak to the color safe aspect as I do not color my hair at the moment.

I’m going to preface this by saying that I don’t style my hair a lot, so I don’t have a ton of experience with styling products. When I want lift, I normally use Batiste dry shampoo along with Miracle 7 foam; and that combo has worked we for me in the past. I think this product works even better though. It adds texture so that I don’t think I’d even need the dry shampoo. And it just immediately gives the texture needed to style my super fine straight hair. I think it works really well, and overall, I’m impressed.

I tried to return this item but kept getting the pop up that it was not returnable. I called Amazon customer service and they gave me a refund. I wanted to send it back but they declined. I did not like the smell either. It reminded me of the subway platform in New York City. I would not use it ever again no matter how much I may want my hair to stay in place!
