I’ve had this dryer for about a month and I’m extremely happy with it. I gave it four stars on the subject of Light Weight because it is a little large and heavy for normal traveling, especially if you’re traveling outside the US.

This, by far, is the blow dryer that I’ve ever used. In five minutes my hair is completely dry and unlike most blow dryers, there is no frizz. It folds and has a retractable cord for easy storage. In comparison to high end blow dryers, this is an affordable and excellent product.

The hairdryer dries great and I would love to give it 5 stars for that, but I have had some problems. I did read some reviews about fires before I bought the hairdryer. The second time I used it, the GFCI outlet sparked and smoked. Come to find out after living in our house for 18 years this particular GFCI outlet was miswired. And BTW that same evening while watching a house renovation program, I found out that GFCI outlets are suppose to be replaced every 5 years…that they wear out….who knew? Now we have a new outlet that is correctly wired and I haven’t had an electrical issue since then. But after a week, the retractable cord no longer retracted. But does the hairdryer really work? Yes! It dries hair at the fraction of the time my old hairdryer did. It adds body and fullness….Conair needs to either fix the retractable cord issue or just not have that feature.

Plugged the dryer in the wall and it literally worked for 2 seconds. Clicks when plugged in but doesn’t work!

I gave this hairdryer to my mother as a gift, and she loves it! She needed a compact hairdryer for her small apartment that had limited space as well as one that she could use when she travels. The cord retracts easily and the handle folds to make it smaller. My mother is 80 years old and uses this easily.
