In the beginning, it was kind of hard to get used to rollers that didn’t have teeth to grip the hair while rolling it onto them. But I got used to it and like it. It heats up very quickly, so plug it in, stick around and it’ll be ready in a minute or so. I wouldn’t recommend wandering away for too long. I’m happy with this product.

These are so much shorter than the heated rollars back in the day. If you are going to order the metal clips for these rollers you will need to order the 1.25″ clips. I really didn’t care for the clips this comes with. I couldn’t get these to stay tight on my head. You will most likely need a scarf to hold these in place

I have probably bought more sets of hot rollers than you have teeth,, trying every new product that comes out, but Conair can’t be beat. This version is kind to your hair, the clips work and the set is great. If you’re new to hot rollers, it can take a minute to master them but when you do you’ll be glad you did. So much kinder to your hair than other heat tools and the body lasts. I always spray a section of dry hair lightly with a heat protectant or water and use end papers before rolling and I have never had brittle or frizzy ends – just shiny hair with great body.

I have fine, layered hair a few inches past my collar bone and tried hot rollers several years ago with disappointing results. However, wondered if maybe it was time to try them again as I’m getting tired of using a hot iron. These give more body than the iron, are easier to use, and the curl/wave lasts a couple of days so I love them!
