I’ve been buying this comb since high school. This is my third comb over the course of 9 years. The first one I got was purple💜, but when I visited my sister last year her dog got ahold of it and by then I think one of the plastic rods had broken off 🙁 So I replaced it for the first time last winter. The second one was a Teal color. 3 of the plastic rods had broken off in the mail though, so I exchanged it for a new one. The replacement came in the mail fine (also teal too) , but only over the course of the last year, 3 of the plastic rods have snapped off… which lead me to this purchase just 2 days ago. This one came in the mail today, fully intact and it’s a royal blue 💙. Fingers crossed this one stays put together for longer than a year. So as much as I like this comb, I might start looking for a replacement from another company, bc it seems like they are using lower quality plastic or lower quality something in the production of these combs now and they just aren’t as strong and durable as they once were. They used to last for up to 8 yrs. Now I can’t get it to last for more than 1…. :/ For now it works though, and it’s only $5 so I’ll still give it a 4/5 rating until I find a better one.

I have very long, thick and wavy hair. In order to reduce the knots and tangles, I use a detangling comb and conditioner when I wash my hair. Without that step, brushing my wet hair after washing it is a painful nightmare. Somehow when I packed my luggage for an extended trip, I forgot my comb. I could not find an exact replacement, but decided to take a chance with this Conair comb. The comb is very inexpensive, arrived quickly and worked perfectly. The varied length of the teeth and short handle made it easy to use. The only negative aspect is that it does not have a means for hanging it in the shower.

Hate combing my hair, but this comb really gets through long, thick, very curly African hair with minimal breakage etc. Mine came as aqua blue, but It’s the same comb. Love it!

I had been searching a while to find something to replace the pick I left at a hotel. The pick was unique and this comb works very similarly. I use it on my wet hair in the shower and it really gets it untangled. It’s easy to hold as well.

I have baby fine hair. My hair tangles up, knots up and it is difficult to comb it out. If I go into the wind or to the beach my hair knots up. If I drive the window down my hair knots up. If I wash my hair it turns into a big snarled mess like a bird’s nest on top of my head. This is the comb for me!
The teeth are offset. They bow out at the top and come together in an offset manner at the bottom. The teeth are wide enough that I can comb out the snarls and tangles. Yes, I do get hair breakage, but I get that with any and all combs.
I can comb my hair out pretty quickly with this comb. I am happy with it!
