At this low of a price range, this flat iron is a GREAT DEAL.
It has a feature that my professional irons do no- it locks closed. That comes in handy for travel.
Heats up quickly with 4 heat settings and has rounded edges to make curls as well.
Grab it, if for nothing else but as a spare!

I bought this to replace a high priced but worn out flat iron. Works even better! My only issue is once you plug it in you do have to remember to turn it on. Sometimes I forget. But it does heat up quickly! I have thick wavy hair and can use the lowest setting of heat and it straightens perfectly and quickly.

I had a mad idea that if I grew out my hair, I would have beautiful locks like early 90s Anthony Kiedis. Instead, I look like Arthur Schopenhauer. I tried this straightener, and I look like Schopenhauer with straight hair. The device works well and is reasonably priced; most important, though, it has helped me accept the fact that I will always look more like Schopenhauer than Anthony Kiedis.

Works great, feels nice and quality, slender, longer ceramic plate than my old one. I use medium setting and could probably go even lower since it is working great. I like that the cable swivels as you move it around. I like the light indicator of whay level heat I’m on.

Have never used a flat iron before and was honestly afraid to try. Would I fry my hair?!! But using Conair Double Ceramic Flat Iron, 1-inch, was like magic. It was easy to use—I read the instructions, but really it’s very intuitive. Just set the heat setting to your hair type, let it warm up, and go at it, bottom/back to top/front, about 1″-portioned hair at a time. The plates do get very hot, so be careful w/ your fingers. My hair is already straight, but I wanted to use the flat iron to curl my ends slightly w/out needing to blow-dry my hair or bust out the round brush and hair dryer. It was fast to iron out my shoulder-length hair, average thickness, and the style stayed for many hours as I sat outside in the chilly winter evening/night. Will probably never go back to my round brush hair dryer.
