I don’t know how anyone else is keeping these things in their hair without clips. I needed clips. They slide all around in my hair. First, I can’t use these from wet to dry hair. My hair just will not ever dry that way. Tried it. I took them out after 8 hours in and my hair was still wet. Second, there aren’t enough rollers for all my hair. You can’t put a ton of hair on these. There are only enough rollers to do the top of my hair. From the top of my ears up. I’d need at least two full sets for my whole head. Third, these mainly just boost volume. Very little curl happening. Fourth, if your hair is longer than shoulder length, it can be difficult to pull your hair straight up and get these on it. Grab a section of your hair. Pull it all the way out away from your head. Can you touch the end? I had some trouble reaching the ends of my hair on the top of my head. (And my hair is just barely past my shoulders.)
So, the proper way to use these, I had found, is to dry your hair. Yep. Dry it. Put the rollers into your dry hair and secure with a long alligator sectioning clip. Spray hair with flexible hold spray OR work a little volume pumping product in before putting the rollers in. Blow dry the dry hair on the rollers for about five minutes. Let them cool for 15 minutes. Remove them. Have big hair.
The secondary, less optimal, but works when I don’t feel like drying my hair all the way. Dry hair most of the way. Put rollers into slightly damp hair, securing with alligator clips. Dry the bottom half of hair with a round brush, since it won’t fit in the rollers. Blow dry the rollers for about 5 minutes. Leave them in for an hour or so. Then remove them and have big hair. The downside to this option is that your hair won’t look as smooth and might still be damp when you remove the rollers.
I’m pretty much thinking my hair is too thick for these bad boys. Or maybe I’m just not dedicated enough to my hair. I don’t know. My hair looks pretty awesome when I use them, but they don’t save me time. They don’t help me to not use the blow dryer, which was what I was hoping for. I was hoping to roll my hair up like a granny and then two hours later have dry hair. Doesn’t work like that.

My girlfriend hates using her curling iron because of how much damage it does to her fine hair. She specifically wanted simple rollers to create volume and this product was perfect for her. It does little damage to the hair compared to heated rollers but the wait time to get your desired look will take longer compared to heated products.

While these rollers do create loose and large curls, my girlfriend ideally likes to use them to create volume especially at the crown of her hair. It’s more ideal for longer length hair if you want curls. When my girlfriend cut her hair to a medium length, she still continued to use the rollers for volume. The only downside is that, if you do have fuller hair, you may have to purchase an extra set.

They do not come with any clips, but bobby pins is an easy solution to keep the rollers in place.

My answers to the frequently asked questions below:

What is the diameter if the roller?

    2.8 x 9 x 8 inches

How will I use these? I will put them on damp hair and let it dry overnight then take them out?

Wet your hair, dry it, and use the rollers afterwards.

How wide are these rollers? I an looking for the width (or length) of them, not the diameter please!

About 2 and a half inches

Overall a great product to add volume to your hair!

After reading the description and reviews, I expected more. These rollers slip out really easily. They don’t grip too well. They’re okay.

    Working perfectly 👌

Oh, yeah – they’r the BIG ones alright. Just what I wanted to add volume to my fine hair. I dry it, spray the hair lightly and then wrap the curl around these big girls and yes, I get some body! Perfect, the next size up from the blue ones. Very happy.

As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me — especially when I can’t actually see, touch or hold the product.

I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I’ll tell you – and if it’s great or mediocre, I’ll tell you that, too. My policy is to try to write the kind of reviews I want to read and to update my reviews if for some reason the product fails to perform as advertised during the period it’s warrantied for. I do ask that if you found this review helpful in making your decision, that you please click on the “yes” button below.

Price is high compared to other Velcro’s , these are big ones but doesn’t hold your hair very well and slips every time you put it in. Extra clip on’s are needed in order keep it intact when you put them on.

I have extremely thick hair and I use rollers to tame my hair, not to make it curly so these huge rollers are absolutely perfect! I bought two packages which is a total of 18 rollers and that works perfectly in my hair. They stay in my hair very well and when I take them out, I just run my fingers through my hair and it looks smooth and healthy. Also, my husband laughs hysterically at how big my head looks with 18 huge rollers in my hair. It’s worth it just to listen to him laughing.

Funcionan bastante bien, solo que si son algo grandes

Estos rollos se acomodan muy bien en tu cabello, son fáciles de usar y el material se ve perdurable, yo los utilizo para poder hacer unas ondas mas naturales y el resultado me es muy grato.
