This is more of a hair dryer than a curling brush. The hair dryer is very loud and can’t be turned off. The wand part doesn’t get very hot. I never used it on my hair but I could keep my hand on it without getting burned so it wouldn’t do anything for my hair! The ‘ground fault’ thing on the plug kept tripping and turning it off. The ground fault on my outlet was fine but this appliance kept turning off. Not worth the money and I will return. Unfortunately when I purchased it, it wasn’t sold by Amazon and the private seller won’t work with me to return it. They only take returns via UPS which has closed all locations near me. They won’t take returns – like Amazon does – through local stores like Kohls, whole foods and Staples. They also charge you to return items – it’s not free like Amazon. BEWARE! I am going to have to give this to someone who lives near UPS to return and will not get my full refund. I have contacted customer service and the seller without any help. The only response is ‘do return through amazon website’. Duh – that’s where I encountered the problem. Lesson learned – only buy items on amazon that are prime or are sold by amazon. Too many problems dealing with other sellers who don’t follow the same rules. Amazon should be more transparent in the listings about these differences!

I had bought one about a year ago and it was defective . There was a piece rattling around in it and eventually it over heated. I was afraid it was going to start a fire. When I turned it on it was very loud. This new one doesn’t have this problem.

STOP WORKING AFTER 20 DAYS ONLY !!!!! it’s a shame, it’s an expensive tool brush and it last 20days only, it does’nt turn on anymore….

Last time I had a haircut my stylist used this on me and I loved how it worked so I asked her for the product info. I now use it every day. It’s such an easy way to finish drying my hair and leaves it smooth and silky looking. It’s also good for a touch up after a nap. Just spritz with water and then a quick dry/curl.
UPDATE: Feb 2024. I used this nearly every day; at least 5 times per week and last week it just gave out. It wasn’t super expensive but it didn’t last a year. Not sure if that was a fluke, but I ordered another one cuz I love it so much.
Still, if it does within a year again, I’ll be trying a different product.
