This Lilac & Gardenia Routine Wellness Conditioner is so much better than I thought it would be! This is a larger bottle that comes with a flip top lid and an option to use a pump instead. The pump does take a few pumps to get the product out, but I love the pump option. This is a thicker formula with a mild floral scent, but the product itself does kind of smell like pencil shavings lol. It’s easy to apply on wet hair, and is thick enough that I don’t feel the need to reapply to completely cover my ends. It makes my hair feel so soft immediately! I leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing out to get the best results possible. It rinses out really well, and makes my hair feel a little bit extra hydrated. The scent doesn’t linger for very long once it’s rinsed out, but I actually like that as it doesn’t mess with the smells of any other product I use. It’s lightweight enough for my 2b waves, and doesn’t feel heavy with my naturally oily hair. The ingredients are nice, and perfect for my wavy hair routine. This is higher end on the price for conditioner, but it comes with a lot of conditioner and ingredients you can trust

This condition does a good job of leaving my hair looking and feeling so soft, healthy and manageable. It is very thick and works quickly through all of my hair – not an easy feat as I have very long and very thick hair. The scent is strong and more on the invigorating spectrum than the soothing side. The main drawback is the poor packaging which consisted of nothing except a clear baggie. The container wasn’t damaged, but seems like it could so easily have been given that it isn’t better protected.

I should start by stating that I have extremely thick,soft, super tangly, shoulder length 4c hair. My hair is kinky and curly and must have moisture. My hair will grow but I have trouble retaining length. I have been having lots of shedding and breakage during wash days. I was looking forward to trying the Routine Wellness Conditioner for Stronger Hair.
The good: 1. Very pleasant smell, I enjoyed the Lilac & Gardenia scent.
2. The thickness of the conditioner. It was not watery at all.
The terrible: Everything else! After applying this product, my hair immediately drew up into a dry mass. I had used a clarifying shampoo, then my usual hydrating shampoo. My hair felt good, super soft, ready for conditioner and detangling. I followed the directions in the booklet supplied for dry or tangled hair. Apply and leave on for 3 minutes and use a wide tooth comb for detangling. Ummm…this conditioner has NO SLIP. It detangles nothing, in fact it did the opposite.
Using this product led to a really frustrating experience and I lost more hair than I have in a while. I cannot recommend this conditioner.
