I recently tried Coola Clear Skin Oil-Free, and I was very impressed. It goes on light and without any white cast on the skin. Not sticky when it gets fully absorbed into skin and makes for great wear under makeup. It only takes one pump of product to cover your whole face evenly and smooths out easily. It worked well to protect me from getting a sunburn. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anybody looking for a sun screen that offers moisturizing and works well with makeup.

I didn’t like the feel and texture of this product. Mine is sort of separated if I don’t shake it up for awhile, which is fine but even then sometimes it separated. For a sunscreen it is pretty lightweight and non greasy but it doesn’t provide enough moisture for me. It’s sort of just an ok moisturizer and ok sunscreen. I’d rather apply a great sunscreen and a great moisturizer.

I’m a big fan of COOLA products so I clicked “buy” on this one so quickly. As a fair skinned girl I have to wear SPF daily. I wear this as a layer under my makeup. However, it leaves a glittery sheen? I don’t love that part and wish it wasn’t so sparkly.

I had high hopes for this, I loved the idea of the blue screen protection, as I have not seen other moisturizers add this. I tested a patch on my hand and immediately saw that it left a white residue, which I am not a fan of. I still wanted to give it a shot and tried it on my face. Right away I could tell I was not going to enjoy this. It was difficult to apply, it seemed really hard to spread on my skin. I also noticed the white residue once again. After fully applying, it left my skin very sticky. It took a very long time to fully absorb and even when it did I could still feel a bit of a film on the surface of my skin. I have tried plenty of sticky moisturizers (which I also don’t like very much) but this one takes the cake as the most sticky. I am definitely not a fan of this moisturizer.

First off, let me start off by saying I’m not one to comment on things i buy or try out of curiosity for how it’s going to look and feel on my skin. The second I put it on, I noticed how hydrating and smooth it seeps into my skin and felt a very big difference in my skin texture. I’ve also noticed over the course of a month and a half, my face has been glowy and I don’t have dry flakes or skin peeling from my face. I have combination skin and it’s hard for me to find a good hydrating face moisturizer with sunscreen and this really knocked it out of the park for me. I will be purchasing again as I already ran out of my bottle. It’s a little on the pricier side for how many ounces you get, but it’s definitely worth the buy and try.
