This purchase that I’m reviewing right now is actually my second purchase and this time I got two of them. First, it really works. My hair is thin on top now and so my scalp sunburns. But not with this. I have been at the beach for hours and actually got a little pink on my arms with my SPF 50 but nothing on my scalp.
Secondly, I can use it and my hair actually looks like I haven’t put anything in it. I lift up section by section and spray at the roots so that’s a good technique. I have rubbed it up from my scalp on one occasion for some reason and I think I remember thinking I shouldn’t do that again, so I assume it looked a little oily. But if you just spray it on at the roots holding up each section as you go which is what you need to do to get the sunscreen on properly, then you’ll be really happy with it. It kind of puts a bit more shine too. Oh and I like the fragrance. It’s actually quite light.
Like other reviews have said, it is expensive, but it lasts a long time and it’s totally worth it.

Works as intended, not greasy but I don’t like the heavily -perfumed scent. I wanted my husband to use it on his scalp as well but he won’t because of the smell of it.

I’m not sure how it works in terms of protection, but be very careful with this product because it is leaving your hair greasy. Probably fine for the beach.

I LOVE this product. I don’t burn easily except for on my scalp. I typically wear my hair in two braids parted down the middle when I’m at the beach. If I spray this on I do not get burned there at all! It stays on very well! After swimming in the ocean or the pool I’ll reapply (when I remember) but have not had an issue while using. I also have pretty sensitive skin and have not had an adverse reaction. I haven’t noticed an oily residue left on my hair after using which is also a huge plus!

This scalp mist is amazing! It smells good but also, works great for when you are going to be out in the sun and don’t want your scalp (hair part or just head in general). I even used it on my face (dabbed it on) and my neck. It works so good and didn’t make my skin itchy or break out. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this hair product for the summer months. Spray a little on your scalp and it does its thing (protects it from getting burnt). I’ve purchased this item at least twice now and I will be back when it runs out again.
Saved my scalp from sunburn, smells nice, and doesn’t leave your hair greasy.

I am one of those people who will BURN easily!!! I use SO much sunscreen when I get to the beach even if I’m staying under the umbrella. No joke. I double up with spf spray and also cream. I’ve been looking for a good resolution for my scalp because I do enjoy going into the water and I don’t wanna worry about getting burned. I want to say that I really really love this product. It’s not oily and I feel that I provides really good coverage. I spray it all over my scalp and into my hair as well, as UV rays will damage and dry out hair. It works beautifully and I will 100% be getting more after I run out.

I was pleasantly surprised that SPF 30 kept my scalp/part totally burn-free in the Las Vegas sun at a pool party for several hours (with reapplication, of course). The scent is soothing, and I did not notice any residue or ickiness on my hairline/part where it was sprayed. (For context, I have curly hair, so it tends to not get oily.)
The only downside of the product is that the wrap on the bottle arrived a little melted, and since going out in the sun with me has continued to peel. That’s pretty minor, though—not worth deducting a star or anything (haha).

I purchased this scalp spray because my scalp constantly burns in the sun where my hair is parted. Before this product, I would try to apply regular liquid sunscreen to my part but the application was messy and left me with a white cast and greasy hair. I don’t want to wear a hat (my head shape just doesn’t work with hats lol and I get far too hot), so I thought I’d give this a try. I’ve used this spray on my scalp twice so far and it has totally prevented burning! The spray is a relatively fine mist and isn’t nearly as greasy as traditional sunscreen but isn’t totally free from grease. However, after applying it and laying by the pool, I was able to style my hair without washing it (I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who could tell it was the tiniest bit greasy. The more spray you apply, the greasier it tends to be. The fragrance isn’t the worst, but it’s certainly not my favorite. It’s not terribly overwhelming, I just have a sensitive nose. The container is pretty small but since I only use it where my hair is parted, I imagine it’ll last me a while, but it’s still pretty pricy for the amount you get. The little protective cap does NOT stay in place, but I haven’t had any leaking so far. Without having tried any other scalp SPF products, I do recommend this product (especially versus using liquid SPF on my scalp!!).
