Just received the straightener and I was shocked at how much it looks like the Dyson straightener. But this straightener actually works on thick hair because of the option for a 450 heating (unlike the Addyson which I tried and had to return due to its poor performance on long thick hair). I’ve only use this straightener once but so far – it works great! I will update the review if it starts to fail.

This is my favorite purchase so far. I can take it to overseas without worrying about if it’ll work in another country or not. When I bought this after using it 3-4 times I had a problem charging it. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and very nice. They fixed my problem and I appreciate the customer service so much. I have curly hair and it works perfectly. I recommend this.

I loved this product so much. The feel, the weight, the fast heating, it was so nice. Exactly what I wanted in a straightener. I would put it in my backpack to straighten my hair at school. I keep checking to see if it’ll come back to life with the charger but no luck 🙁

I was so excited when I got this and it worked GREAT. Unfortunately within two months it just… stopped charging. It died one day and wouldn’t charge again. For the price, this was a real heartbreaker.
Still can’t bring myself to throw it out. I plug it in every few weeks to see if it comes back to life like a zombie straightener. No luck. 🙁
Update: Seller reached out to me and offered me either a refund or a new straightener! I really had loved the cordless straightener while it worked, so I opted for a new one. It appears to be an updated unit that now has airplane mode. So far so good! Will update with any concerns with the new one. 🙂

Written instructions say that charge will last 30 days. It lasted 8 days, which covered 3 uses. And there is no indicator that battery is getting low. I wouldn’t need it to last 30 days. I just need to know when it needs charging before it is dead.

I have tried conair, dyson and now this Zarvarea. The conair was junk, the dyson was crazy expensive and pulled at my hair (DYSON-TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT) and this cheap thing, compared to the dyson, was far better. Feels sturdy/well made and has only a slight pull on hair if not placed right. The charge lasts a few times for me. It is great to travel with and love that I can take it on the plane with me in airplane mode. Very happy that I tried this. The only things that could be improved is having zero pull like a ghd(corded) and heating up a bit more. I have a hard time believing it gets to 450°. However, still straightens great. Just have to pass through my hair a few more times then I would with a really good corded straightner. Overall great value for the low price!!

1st one I ordered never would work (it wouldnt charge or turn on) so I requested a replacement and sent it back. I recieved the 2nd one and it is extremely heavy, doesnt hold a charge well and takes forever to charge it. Its not user friendly and styling the hair is very difficult with this. I have sent the second one back as well and am still waiting on my refund which has been a while. Save ur time and money and dont order.
