I have never used a product from CosRx that I have not thoroughly enjoyed and this has got to be my favorite essence. As a student, I am always losing sleep from staying up late and my skin has taken a doll. However, after a week of using this product I’ve seen such a subtle yet noticeable difference. My skin seems brighter and more plump, before my skin was lacking in hydration and I could feel how coarse and dry it was and this essence has completely repaired it back. I usually like trying a new product after I’m done, but I will definitely buy this again, I can’t get enough.

First off I’m 40, with sensitive dry skin, worked in skincare for 10 years and have literally tried almost everything… no joke. This product is absolutely incredible. I felt a difference in the softness of my skin after the first try. A little tingle but I had just dermaplaned my face so that’s pretty normal. Once it dried (before I added the rest of my skincare) I felt lifted and smooth and really clean. This formula is super thin and a little goes a long way. I’ve added it into my routine morning and night and seen DRAMATIC changes in my skin’s texture and elasticity. I’ve also seen a lot of improvement in my stubborn hyperpigmentation. I immediately put this on subscription because I’ll use it until they stop making it. That’s three cosrx products that I can’t live without now… love this brand!

I have been studying all about fermented/prebiotic/probiotic skincare lately and found some very interesting facts about the history of, its K beauty recommended usage, and its current popularity. My first purchase was Time Revolution by Missha. I do like it as a first step after cleansing, but despite the rave reviews not earth shattering for my mature dry skin. I became interested in some of the more “moisturizing toners”, toning of my skin before using moisturizer and sunscreen (always) not being a step in my typical routine. So many brands, so many similarities! Well I chose this Cosrx because it had the ingredients I wanted and the price was great. After using it for the past 6 weeks or so, I can honestly say the results (and 6 weeks is just a bare beginning) are exciting; it goes on easily and is so light yet moisturizing. My pores seem to become less noticeable. My skin is sensitive and occasionally I get eczema in an area of my lower cheek. Usually I use a colloidal oatmeal preparation or hydrocortisone to speed healing, this time I took a chance (risk actually) and applied a little of this Cosrx to the area, under the usual eczema care, and it soothed and actually expedited healing! Cosrx goes on beautifully underneath my moisturizer, sunscreen, and makeup. No pilling whatsoever. But what I really like is how smooth and glowy my face looks after using it. While pores can’t actually “shrink” (anatomically impossible) they can “appear” that way, and with this, they do. At this price and for what it does, plus how easy it is to add to my typical routine, I honestly recommend and will continue to use myself. Oh, and at 6 weeks, using 3-4 pumps twice a day, I’ve hardly made a dent in the amount of the bottle’s contents. Give it a try!

I didn’t know what galactomyces were, but ordered this after looking into Korean skin care. I love a number of the COSRX products, and this one has fast become a staple in my very simple skincare routine.
I use it right after a COSRX toner and before any other serums (it’s lightweight and absorbs quickly), and it leaves my skin feeling softer, smoother and more subtle.
Even on the days when I’m too unwell to go through a full skincare ritual, I don’t skip this product.
