I have medium fine hair and it’s thinning in some areas…PS I’m a 72 yr old woman…. You wouldn’t think that this product would do as much as it does but I’m thrilled. I have tried lots of different products because not only is it medium fine but it has no curl at all (which was wonderful when I was 16 but not now). My alternatives to getting body in my hair is to either get it permed…. Not recommended for thinning hair…or use a lot of product and curl it. And even then my hair won’t hold a curl for more than about an hour and then it goes very flat. This product you can put in wet or dry and I tend to do both. But it holds the curl for 2 days!!! (I use a curling iron)You rub about a dime size amount in the palm of your hand it’s very thick and feels a little sticky but rub it thoroughly through your hands and then lift your hair and pat it on the roots and then use the rest of your hand to just scrunch it and pull it into a piece look. Then I use a lite hairspray on the areas that tend to separate. Many times when I’m in a hurry I just run my fingers through it and pull and fluff and go!! It really is amazing! With my sisters have very sick curly hair. But I got the thin stringy hair. Now we actually look like sisters!

The hold with this product is very strong, but slightly shinier than expected. It isn’t shiny by any means, just has a bit of a shine.
The instructions say to use a nickel sized amount, but I’ve found that 2-3 nickels worth is needed for the desired result.

I’ve always gone with a dry, messier part, as opposed to a wet look for my hair. Because of this, I prefer a thick paste that I can apply after blow drying my hair. This paste has been my go-to for 5 plus years. The hold is clean, strong, and keeps my hair in place throughout the day. I apply a fingertip amount and work it through my hands, then apply to my hair and style it. It stays in place and looks great.

This products performance isn’t as high hold as I would like, you need to use more than a nickel size to make the product hold better… so you’re using more product than it used to be. The quality is great other than how much of the product you need to use. It smells very clean, it’s not an over powering smell either. It’s super easy to wash out of your hair too. I’ve never used the barber version of this pomade but I do really like it and I love the appearance of the container. It’s a very clean look on the hair too. Love it.

I’ve tried out the Cremo Thickening Paste, and it’s a pretty solid product. The hold it offers is quite strong, which is nice if you’re going for a style that needs to stay put. I switched from using American Crew Styling Paste to this. Is holds my hair in place without being crusty. It does not have any shine to it, which is what I wanted. It doesn’t smell and washes off your hands with a little bit of soap. I was able to re-style my hair later on in the day after it got messed up without needing to apply more product. It’s a good value and not nearly as dry as my last container of American Crew Styling Paste. This is my new go to hair product.

The price is even higher than walmart , same product same brand name ,but the result is the same. The paste is not strong enough to hold , also it is not last as long as they advertise. Waste of the money for this product. Not recomended for the one who looking for the paste thickening holding result,find other.
