  1. Amazon Customer

This is a great set of toothpaste. Firstly, let’s talk about the value here. You not only get three of them but you also get the larger size for each one! That makes this a great deal right from the start. The quality with Crest is excellent and you know you’re getting a well made product. It does a good job with cleaning and effectively removes the stuff you dont want hanging around. Size is perfect, it’s effective, great value and tastes great too.

    Good value works as advertised

This toothpaste is the only one I’ve tried that actually works as far as whitening. I drink a lot of coffee and it definitely helps to keep my teeth white. The flavor is good, but I don’t love the artificial sweetener in this. That is my only complaint though. I think this is a good value for three tubes as well and I would order this again.

    What am I reviewing?
Crest’s 3D White Brilliance Bright Mint Teeth Whitening Toothpaste

    Brand?
Crest, a powerhouse in this space and a brand I trust.

    How this arrived?
This arrived within a shrink-wrapped three (3) pack. [I am a fan of everything that is sealed, it gives me peace-of-mind, whether real or imagined, that the integrity of the product was not disturbed prior to my receiving this.]

    Immediate impression?
Squeaky clean, minty fresh, but there is no accounting for taste, and within a few days use, whether real or imagined, my teeth appeared whiter.

    Concerns?
The abrasives within the toothpaste and the SLS. Everyone wants whiter teeth and foaming toothpaste, however, there is a cost for that – abrasives and SLS in the toothpaste.

SLS, I do not care for it
There is an ingredient I prefer to not have in my soaps and toothpastes. Sodium “lauryl” sulfate (SLS) a chemical that’s commonly used in soaps, shampoos, shower gels, and toothpastes as a surfactant – think foaming agent for creating lots of suds; [This includes sodium “laureth” sulfate (SLES), which is said to be a slightly less harsh version of SLS, which is in this. These chemicals are typically made from petroleum. However, such ingredients can be plant based.] Here, I see SLS.

    Right to make informed decisions
Okay. But does this have SLS? Yes, this does. Read the label (the listing did “not” post the ingredients, so I “am” going to take away that consumers should have choices and be informed. Even if this is plant derived SLS does that make that any better? The reader needs to decide. However, of note is the recent trend of “green sheen.” Does plant based make a difference?

    Set me free from SLS
I prefer being free from SLS, whether petroleum based or otherwise (plant-based). This is not free from SLS.

How does remove stains so well?
    Likely from the abrasives.

    Such as?
Hydrated silica, it’s a fancy word for a form of silicon dioxide (sand). It’s an abrasive and the question is what that does to my tooth enamel.

    Is this perfect?
No, however, I found this formula to be fresh, unique, and a great clean; and because of the abrasives, will use only on an as needed basis.

    Rating
Considering the above, it’s a strong four (4) stars.

    Country of origin?
It’s distributed by a USA company; however, I do not know where this was made and where the ingredients used within this are from. That’s a negative for me.

    The paste
This 4.3-ounce – 121-gram tube of white paste, not gel, with a clean aftertaste.

    Shelf-life
    Expiration is 2026.

    When received?
    September 2024.

I hope my thoughts added information.

I like the light gritty feeling the toothpaste provides. The end result is feeling as if I just had a dental cleaning and polishing. Two minutes is suggested as the time to brush and keep the foam in your mouth. That seems long, but will try to abide for the next few days. If I do notice whiter teeth in 3 days that is wonderful, but even if I don’t, I am happy to have tried this toothpaste. The mild abrasiveness makes my teeth feel great, the taste is great too.

  6. New User

Been using crest for a while. As always the paste always treats my teeth and gum well. Smells great and makes my smile whiter. Overall happy with this 3 pack deal. Would recommend it.

It leaves your teeth feeling like you just had them cleaned at the dentist. I love that gritty, clean feeling.

  8. Omar

I have been a user of Crest 3D for a long time now and this toothpaste is one of my favorites. It cleans really well and my teeth look and feel great afterwards. I am definitely going to continue to order in this three pack so I have one for each of my bathrooms.
