Yep, some brushes hurt. This one has bigger rounded tips and wide bristles for light brushing and styling. Comfortable in hand. Old one was 8 years and cracked one day. Glad I found this!

This brush is exactly as promised in the description. I have thick curly hair and the brush goes through my hair with ease and with no static. It’s going to be perfect for drying my hair in the loose curls I have naturally. I’m very happy with this product.

Can brush my hair without getting static BUT the added shorter bristles also prohibit being able to brush to the root of my thick hair. So, I’ve had to keep my 25+ year old Fast Flo brush out of retirement for use when I know static will not be a problem. The only real difference between the two brushes is the additional shorter bristles on the new one.
