I was trying to find an absorbent towel that would not cause more damage to my already fragile locks. I studied ratings on several and even bought a couple which I ended up returning-too small and not very absorbent. Bought these after seeing them come up on many sites when I searched for “best hair towel for healthy hair”. They are as big as the very old and ratty small bath towel I have used for years which is great. Super absorbing-I actually have to spray a bit of water on my hair again before doing my leave-in conditioners! I definitely will be buying again!

I bought this towel from Sephora based on several articles saying this towel is luxurious compared to popular options like the Aquis towel. The Crown Affair towel is REALLY large. It was too big for my fine shoulder length hair so I returned and purchased the smaller Aquis towel. Highly recommend Crown Affair if you have long thick hair.
I purchased from Sephora because this seller is outside the country when Crown Affair is based in NYC. And this seller is selling for $10 less than anywhere else. Wasn’t worth the hassle for $10.

It is good quality, but no matter how many different ways I try to do the wrap, it starts out great, but after about 5 minutes loosens up and slides around on my head. So for me it doesn’t “securely hold” it in place as claimed. I’ve had it a year, so have tried many times. Otherwise I do like it. I am noticing the elastic band holder is starting to wear and stretch out a bit, will probably need to have a seamstress replace it at some point.
