Having well water with high mineral content can make my skin extremely itchy depending on the time of year and how much rain we’ve had. This helps immensely in curtailing that.

I’ve had a somewhat mixed experience with the Curel Itch Defense Calming liquid soap. On the positive side, the absence of fragrance is a definite plus. Many soaps can be overpowering, so this is a refreshing change.

The product is also quite easy to use, which is a real-time-saver. No complicated instructions or lathering issues here – just a straightforward application. However, I did notice that it tends to leave a somewhat odd texture on washcloths, almost as if it doesn’t rinse off completely. It’s a minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, despite the initial promise, I found that it didn’t provide the relief I was hoping for in terms of my eczema. After using it consistently for about a month, I didn’t notice a significant improvement. This was a letdown, as I was hoping for more substantial results.

In summary, while the Curel Itch Defense Calming liquid soap has its merits like being fragrance-free and easy to use, the residue it leaves on washcloths and its limited effectiveness in managing eczema may be deterrents for some users. It’s worth considering, but perhaps not a one-size-fits-all solution for everyone.

I used this and I am amazed at how well it worked the first time. I get itchy immediately after a showering…especially at the change of seasons. It also happens when I perspire a lot on a humid hot day. Well, it is now late September and last week it started…as soon as I stepped out of the shower…the itch began. It subsides after awhile…but it is very intense just after showering. I go through this every year and I was sick of it. I usually use a moisturizing body wash because my skin is very dry and I also use a moisturizing lotion that you rinse off. It helped a little …but I really didn’t notice my dry skin going away and it did absolutely nothing for the itch. I found this and the matching leave on lotion. Used both the first time yesterday and they worked perfectly….absolutely no itch at all and my skin actually feels softer and my legs look moisturized…no more flakiness. I have only used this stuff twice and I love it. I was kind of worried that I would not like to leave on a lotion after showering…but it is not greasy or slimy at all…just leaves you clean, moisturized and NOT ITCHY….Love it.

Omg lemme tell you…. When i say I’ve suffered from the most itchiest skin & cracked heels…. For YEARS, I’ve had to immediately apply a good lotion all over my whole body or else I would itch & my skin would feel tight as well as I would always have to almost sand paper my heels bc they would crack so bad, they’d catch on my carpet & I’d hate it. I was always using body wash brands like Dove, Aveeno, Oil of Olay… brands I always associated with as top drug store brands. I decided to switch things up & try this Curel brand. I was say, I didn’t notice anything until about 2 weeks or so but once I did, my mind was blown. I can now shower, even taking the most hottest showers & not need to apply lotion. My body does not itch, it’s not tight, it’s not even dry. My heels are as smooth as a baby’s butt. Lol. No joke. I’m so happy I’ve found this lotion.

Under the right conditions, when the humidity is consistently high and the temperature is just right that the AC doesn’t come on in my house to circulate the air often enough, I get a heat rash. It usually just happens in a few small areas under clothing, but this year it covered about half my body. This product was a life-saver. With heat rash, you absolutely cannot use anything that might clog your pores, or it makes the rash worse. The includes most soaps and body washes. This stuff doesn’t have soap, scents, or anything heavy or oily in it so it cleaned without making anything worse. And it helped with the itching!

So even though this was the worst the heat rash I’ve ever had, it was the easiest time I’ve ever had dealing with it because of Curel’s cleanser. I would reccomend this to anyone with sensitive skin or that might need to clean a rash or dry, itchy skin.

I don’t know what has caused my skin to become so itchy. It could be that we recently moved…new water, new climate, new construction house. Or it could be that I’m at an age when I’m told changes in your hormones can cause itchy skin. Or it could be the heat and humidity. Or it could be all of these things or none. Regardless, this body wash HELPS. It’s not perfect and the relief doesn’t last nearly long enough (typically 8-12 hours), but I finally have something that helps me from wanting to peal my skin off! I’m happy for the moment. I’m also relieved that the smell is more soothing than perfume-like. As someone who is sensitive to everything including smells, I don’t find the smell of this body soap to be bad.

    Ideal para la piel atópica.
