It smells really good, but it didn’t give my hair enough weight to keep it weighed down and elongated, so it’s not my favorite gel. I like how it leaves my hair soft and has a pump to dispense it.
I still rate it a 4 because I think it’s a good product overall

I have just started to follow the Curly Girl Method and this gel is just perfect. It holds my curls and with just a tiny amount I get my curls back on track (2c/3a) and smells so good.
Don’t use too much if you want soft curls.
It contains protein so I usually alternate it with another gel that doesn’t contain protein to maintain a good balance on my hair.

A little goes a long way. Wouldnt use on thin or straight hair due to some oils in it and too much could give a greasy look but for wavy/curly and thick hair its nice. Leaves no residue in the hair which ive had problems with other products doing so. Ive even used it on my daughter and it makes her curls nice.. defined and shiny.

I was super excited to receive this product considering all the hype about it I was a little disappointed it weighed down my curls and left my hair looking wet. It did however take away my frizz. I didn’t have any frizz after using this product. I personally just did not like the wet look this product leaves you with. I have really curly longer hair. I only ordered this product because of other reviews but upon receiving it I was surprised to see that it looked like it was made in someone’s home . I have yet to try other products from this brand and I will because like I said the hype about this product is really good this one just wasn’t the greatest pick for me.
