I hv bn through a lot of gels. This one is great doesn’t make hair crunchy. I Love It. It does hv weird feel but just put it on it works. My hair is semi curly helps define my curls. U may need to work with it to determine the amount u need to use

I’ve got low density, tight curls, and coils, with a tendency to shrink. Two years natural and until I learned of Curlsmith brand, my curly hair was a chore. The one complaint that I had about deciding not to straighten my hair was not finding curl definition an easy thing to do. I tried everything even a very popular gel brand in every curl defining YouTube video but I never had the curl definition, nor the patience to hand twist that others had. And the heavy gel made my hair feel dirty and gross. Then, a hair stylist used Curlsmith soufflé on my hair and voilà! finally, I have all the definition and none of that gross heavy gel burden. Softens hair as it lightly moisturizes and keeps my tightly-coiled curls loose and properly formed. That alone makes me happy, but there’s more—it’s vegan and so I’m not putting all of those chemicals on my hair just for curl definition. Want to kick it up a knotch? Use Curlsmith Oil in Cream if you wash your hair before bed. Use two strand twists and untwist in the morning (assuming it’s completely dry) and then, use the Soufflé as you style. I’m a big fan of Curlsmith products and have been using the In-Shower Style Fixer for a year now. I decided to change it up and try this, and it’s my new go-to. The hold and definition are as good as the In-Shower, but it’s easier to scrunch out and more forgiving of use on hair that isn’t soaking wet.
It’s a little messy to apply and might be better packaged in a squeeze bottle, but it turns smooth as silk as soon as you work it into your hair and starts forming a solid cast immediately. A little pricy, like all Curlsmith products, but great.

I have thick medium length 2c coarse greying hair which due to the menopause seems to be getting much dryer and difficult to manage. I’ve tried loads of prducts over the years ranging from those designed for afro type hair to really expensive ‘miracle cures’ with very limited results.
This was my last hope before having it all cut off into a short style and I’m so pleased!!
The product is jelly like in consistency and is very easy to apply. Theres no greasiness/heaviness at all and the smell is very mild. I’m now hardly using any other products between washes and my scalp no longer gets itchy from previous product buildup.

Pour un gel il a une très bonne composition (16,1/20 selon une application) c’est pouquoi j’ai choisi ce produit car c’est difficile de trouver des gels avec une bonne composition.
Niveau qualité, j’aime beaucoup. Première fois que j’achète un produit gel. J’ai les cheveux crépus et beaucoup de frisottis. J’applique le produit la veille sur mes cheveux + un foulard pour la nuit et hop le matin mes cheveux sont bien plaqués. 😀 Et parfois je le mets le matin même, un petit bandeau durant 10 minutes et c’est parti pour des cheveux plaqués toute la journée.
Très efficace et pas besoin d’en mettre des tonnes. Je vous le recommande. 😉

I was really hoping to love this product. I have 3c-4a curls, and this product dried out my hair and created more frizz. Unfortunately for me, I am planning to throw this out because I don’t like the chemistry this has with my hair. I had to keep adding leave-in conditioner just for moisture. The smell is light and pretty nice.

if I have to pick 1 styler for my curls for a simple and hassle free routine, this is THE ONE. This is the only curly hair product that gets all 5 stars from me! I have tried various styling gels n creams over the year (including hydro gel( hold 7) and ultimate styler fixer gel(hold 10) from curlsmith) but this one gives best results so far. For maximum definition and long lasting hold, I have been layering this after applying John Frieda curl cream. But if you want, the gel on its own is enough too!!

Ho provato tanti prodotti ma questo è veramente unico. Ho capelli mossi ma usando questo prodotto insieme ad un po’ di spuma fa miracoli. Le foto non rendono il vero ma vi assicuro che i miei capelli fanno invidia a tutte. Lo straconsiglio, infatti l’ho acquistato per la quarta volta. Non ha rivali.

I like this product. I bought the small squeeze tube of it to try it, loved it, so I bought the bigger size. It comes in a jar, with two lids. It’s ridiculous to use this gel by scooping it out with your hand. It should have been in a bigger squeeze bottle. It’s a gel! I use this after applying 2 other curlsmith products that get my hands get sticky and then I can’t open this. So I have to open it first, before I use the other 2 products first. I like this gel, but the container is just plain stupid and makes no sense.
