I do like this shampoo. It does an admirable job at cleaning, gets a lot of my product out with one wash and does smell nice, a combo of floral and fruits. It doesn’t lather the best but penetrates enough that I do not feel like I need excessive product. The bottle has a squeeze top (no pump) but is flexible enough that I do not have to fight to get product out. For the price I feel the bottle/amount given could be better. It did leave my hair feeling clean and soft and I do think it left it looking more volumized so I would say it lives up to its promises. Would recommend.

I love the Curlsmith shampoo and conditioners for my wavy hair. Bought one of each and both were received with the bottle caps opened and product leaking out and into the bag. They could have at least taped the caps shut to prevent this.

I’ve never tried anything Curlsmith before this product. I don’t normally use anything that is volumizing because I feel like I have big hair.
First, this stuff smells great and the scent lasts all day. My hair and scalp feels really cleansed and my hair is super light and bouncy. I’ve been going swimming and getting my hair wet later in the day and the scent still lasts and once my hair dries it’s still light and bouncy.
I’ll definitely be looking into more of their products and will likely switch to this shampoo for good. I’m that pleased with the results!

When I get this shampoo, I was concerned that It would increase the volume too much but really it just did a great job at making my curls more manageable.

To preface my review – I have coarse, thick, frizzy and wavy 2B hair. Because my hair is dry and frizzy, I don’t like to use volumizing products for fear that it’ll poof my hair up even more. But I’ve heard great things about Curlsmith and decided to give this shampoo a try. First off it’s great at cleansing my hair. Almost feels like a clarifying shampoo but not as stripping. My scalp and hair feels clean afterwards, but is still detangled and manageable. I also like that it somehow helps encourage what little waves I have. I do the rest of my “curly” hair routine afterwards (cream + gel + ploop + diffuse) and my waves last into the next day.
My hair needs more hydrating products so I will only use this in place of a clarifying shampoo. But other than that, I don’t find myself reaching for it as much as I would my others. The price also makes me hesitate to repurchase it in the future.

My hair feels so clean after using this conditioner it’s amazing. I have waxy hair and it makes my waves more pronounced and I love it.

My hair is fine and it take some effort to help the waves. This hair cleanser has helped it to be light and bouncy! I use it to clean my hair, but I also leave some of it in my hair and I think that makes a big difference! I have been concerned about the idea of using hair products with so much oil, because I have oily hair. Now I realize it can be helpful! My hair is also not as frizzy. The scent is fragrant in the shower, but after styling and defusing my hair, I don’t notice the scent.
The bottle came without any leakage, but I would not have been surprised if it had leaked, because there is no seal inside or outside the lid. For that reason, I am hesitant to buy it again and end up with even part of the contents emptied into the packaging.
