I was not sold on the Curl Smith line as there were just too many to choose from and it seemed overwhelming. I gave it a try after doing research and decided on the Strength line. I purchased the shampoo, volume foam, aqua gel, and miracle shield. So far, I’m loving it. I apply the products by doing foam, gel, and then foam again. I’m seeing good results this way. The gel is watery, hence the name. I thought at first I received a contaminate product, before I actual read how the consistency would be. A little goes a long way. As I’ve come to realize with curly hair, less is more. Using a heavy gel, especially on fine hair, will weigh it down and cause the curls to not be as defined. This is just all part of the curl journey when embracing curls. I will continue using this product for a few months to see if it truly strengthens my hair. Right now, I can only review how it’s styling it.

Bought it after seeing so many videos by influencers, but didn’t really work on my hair. It’s not only made my hair look too stiff, my hair also kind of lost if natural bounciness.

Hated w 1st use. 2nd time was better. I have high porosity hair so tried the sopping wet hair application 1st time. 2nd time did slight towel dried hair & liked the results better. I used a leave in and the accompanying cream followed by gel,.in that order. I also diffused less time and just used a regular hair dryer for my roots which aided in adding volume. 1st time I diffused for 20+ minutes and had the curls but flat if that makes sense.
The seller/shipper did not safety wrap it so I good amount leaked out

I love this gel, but it took me some time to figure out how to use it on my fine, high-porosity wavy hair. As a single styler, it won’t hold for longer than a day for me, but I like to use it as my most substantial layer with some other products for a little more hold and volume. The texture makes it really easy to spread in soaking wet hair and I can use a lot to get the most hold out of it without it weighing my hair down. It also refreshes really easily with some steam—at most I’ll add a bit more hairspray for day 2/3. It doesn’t enhance my curl pattern as much as some other products, but my washdays last longer overall because my hair isn’t weighed-down and sticky after one refresh.

I’m trying to grow my curls back after the keratin treatment and it’s been 4 months since I had it done. I bought a package with the shampoo, 3-1 conditioner, salve, and it had the smaller version of this gel and I love it so much that I had to buy the bigger one. I know I have a long wait until my hair us back to normal but the Curlsmith products are helping more than expected Very happy!

Habe wie man sehen kann mittlerweile echt viele Produkte der strength Serie von Curlsmith.
Als allererstes die Verpackung ist wirklich hochwertig und schön. Es kam auch nichts beschädigt an.
Der Duft der ganzen Serie ist richtig schön fruchtig und hält sich echt lange.
Ganz wichtig ist hier zu sagen, dass alle Produkte Proteine enthalten und deshalb nicht für jeden Haartyp geeignet sind. Ich habe super feine Locken und meine Haare lieben Proteine.
Das Gel ist auf Wasserbasis und wirklich richtig flüssig. Es lässt sich super in den Haaren verteilen, ohne sie zu beschweren. Es bildet sich nur ein leichter Cast, welcher sich gut raus kneten lässt.
Kann das Gel wirklich für feine Haare empfehlen. Werde es definitiv wieder kaufen. Meine Locken fühlen sich gut an und haben einen schönen Sprung!
