I have very dry, very sensitive eczema-prone skin, so it’s often difficult finding a product that doesn’t irritate my skin. This is my first time using a d’alba product, and I’m very satisfied – the serum has a pretty runny/watery consistency that settles very nicely into the skin. It dries down pretty quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky or tacky residue.
It does have a scent, but it smells very nice and luxurious. I stay away from fragrance in products, so I would prefer if there was a fragrance-free version. It hasn’t caused any irritation on my face, but I do think it irritated the eczema on my hands/fingers though, after applying with hands to my face. So I would caution to not use this product if you have any active eczema to avoid any irritation.
I use one or two pumps and let it seep into the skin. The pump is a bit finicky – kinda sends the product all over and not pumping out a concentrated amount. I’ve had to be careful with how I pump out the product to not waste anything. All in all, I would recommend this product for normal/combo/oily skin types, with a note of caution for those who are eczema-prone, and look forward to trying out more d’alba products in the future.

This double layer revitalizing serum by means of D’Alba. It’s a completely lightweight serum this is very skinny and under no circumstances heavy, and absorbs fast leaving my pores and skin with a pleasant dewy radiance.

i absolutely lovely the whole D’alba range and this was the first one i purchased. I have gone through 3 bottles of this now as i use nightly and it is an incredible serum for my skin. I use tretinoin at night so apply this ten minutes afterwards and its been great for me. This first time i used it it did cause a small break-out however i cant be sure it was this. after a couple of days i picked it up again as my skin was so dry all was fine and ive not looked back since. Its very rich, a little goes a long way and i dont use this underneath makeup however i do use other D’alba products under makeup. This i feel would be too much for me and my skin but at night…..Wowzers. Just amazing
