This truffle ampoule provides a substantial amount of moisture to skin while feeling comfortable to wear. The ampoule is dispensed by a small dropper that for some reason does not pick up the liquid well. It pulls up and dispenses maybe a small pea size amount at a time which is not quite enough for full face coverage. It has a medium thickness that spreads easily. The scent is strong at first but is not noticeable when it dries. It smells of a nice sweet refreshing citrus. It only takes a couple minutes for it to absorb and feels soft and smooth with no off-putting feeling

I like this product a lot. But the dropper is so ineffective and frustrating I’m not sure I will repurchase. Which is a really dumb reason to lose a customer solely bc your packaging is garbage.

This serum is a nice, high quality, moisturizing serum with low fragrance. It goes on light and leaves skin feeling smooth and supple. It absorbs quickly and without a greasy feeling. It is definitely competitive with high end moisturizers and could cost much more in a boutique setting. Thankfully it’s avaiability on Amazon means I can use it throughout the year and make it a part of my regular skin routine. I have combination skin so while I’m dry, I’m also oily in spots and I hate having to mix and match just to moisturize my face so I like something that is easy to use, a little goes a long way and I can just slather it on without worrying where I put it. This is that type of moisturizer to me. It appears as though it will last about 2-3 months with regular use and I am hopeful to stretch it just a little bit further if I can.
Stuff&Things –
This ampule from d’Alba is wonderful. It goes on easily and absorbs well. It is mid-weight and doesn’t leave behind any kind of unwanted residue or irritation. This ampule leaves my skin looking and feeling amazingly refreshed and hydrated.

The formula itself was really nice but I cannot deal with the scent of this product. I recently quit smoking and to me, it smells like a whole bunch of wet cigarette butts. It makes me gag every time. Your experience might be different.

I have been a huge fan of d’Alba products since I was introduced to their White Truffle First Spray Serum a few years ago. I will try pretty much anything they make without question, and I think there has only been one product of theirs that I didn’t really like. So when I saw this new product was available, OF COURSE I had to try it! This is an ampoule, which is kind of like a super concentrated serum, chock full of good skin stuff. Personally, I like to get the most from a product like this by prepping my skin with a gentle chemical exfoliant first, then patting a few layers of hydrating toner into my wet skin, and following up with this stuff. I may or may not use a moisturizer after that, depending on the season and my skin’s needs.
This is a milky white serum in a lovely frosted glass bottle. It is dispensed with a glass dropper. If there’s a fragrance, it’s very light, and this product hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin at all. On the contrary, it seems to soothe and calm any irritation I might have. It hydrates my skin so beautifully, and leaves me with a dewy glow that I just love! It is exactly the quality and performance I have come to expect from d’Alba.
I love how d’Alba has color-coded the ingredients list so you can see what each individual ingredient does and why it was included in the finished product. It’s really informative and helpful, so check it out if you haven’t already. It’s provided in one of the product photos above.
And if all this goodness weren’t enough, all d’Alba Piedmont products are 100% cruelty-free! This product, like many by this company, is vegan, too. I absolutely love the brand, and this ampoule is really fantastic. A bit expensive, yes, but well worth it if you have the funds. If you don’t, try one of d’Alba’s serums for good hydration and glow. Either way, you won’t go wrong. Enthusiastically recommended!

I have zero complaints on this serum. It is well-worth the money in my opinion. I have been using this for over a month, and I don’t think I can stop now! It fits perfectly in my skincare routine. I put it on after my toner and before my retinol.
I have used a mask from this brand before with the same white truffle. I’m convinced white truffle is magical for skincare!
My face feels so firm and hydrated after applying this. It did not irritate my skin or have any weird interactions with my other products. I use it every morning and every night.
The scent is light and pleasant. I thought it had a bit of a citrus scent, but I see the product listing shows it is aloe Vera.
