I love Davines hairspray, so I was curious to try this paste too. I know it says it’s for men, but I am a woman with short hair, and I often like men’s products for the scent, etc. This hair styling paste is great, and does exactly what it should do. The tube will last a long while too, because you’ll only use a small amount each time. The texture of the paste is creamy, not too thick, and a bit sticky, but easy to work with. I used a dime sized amount, rubbed it in my hands, then brushed my fingers through my dry hair and smoothed around the edges/neckline. It can also be used on wet hair (according to the instructions on the back of the tube). This paste sets my style better and lasts longer than a strong hold hairspray, with less effort, no mess, and no crunchy or sticky residue. My hair feels great, still has movement and maintains volume while staying in place. The paste is scented but it’s not overpowering. It’s a subtle fresh masculine scent, though it’s hard to describe in words. I don’t think many people, if any, would be offended by the scent. I’m very happy with this product, and Davines does not disappoint! I know I can always expect great quality products with healthy ingredients from Davines!

I know this says it’s a men’s product – and my son has used it and likes it — but I have used it too. My daughter and I both like the scent. It’s kind of like a clean-smelling cologne and it’s not overpowering at all. It’s a thin white paste which is smooth and easy to work through your hair. It doesn’t leave your hair stiff or greasy. Also, I have sensitive skin, but this doesn’t irritate it at all. I knocked one star off because it’s a bit expensive in my opinion, but a decent product if it’s within your budget.

I usually hairspray my kids hair because gel just annoys me… This is a perfect mix in between… It’s a paste and you only need the minimum… You can use it on wet or dry hair, and seems to hold for both of them all day! Will be ordering again!

I love Davines products. They are high quality and a little goes far. This is in the men’s line but I use this as a female. The smell is clean and the product gives the funky piecey look.
