This is my third purchase. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. This really does minimize pores under your makeup. Others over tried lay horrible under makeup or interacts horribly with makeup but this is the best foundation I’ve found to go under my makeup. I hope they never stop making this.

Dermalogica Porescreen Mineral Face Sunscreen (SPF 40) is a small 1 oz zinc oxide mineral sunscreen that comes in a convenient tube with a pump. I’ve used this a number of times on my face and neck. I apply it after my day cream and before my makeup (if any). This sunscreen is runny, but it’s still super easy to apply and spread and provides even coverage.
This sunscreen is described as having a subtle tint. It looks white to me, and I don’t see any tint even when I pump some onto my hand. However, it does goes on really sheer and doesn’t look white when applied to my skin. It soaks in fast and doesn’t leave any white cast on my pale skin with an olive hue. My makeup application is nicer and smooth after using this sunscreen.
I have dry, mature skin and feel this sunscreen does add some hydration and also makes my skin look radiant, but it isn’t greasy or heavy. I feel that my skin texture appears to have a more refined look. However, while this has an effective pore minimizer with niacinamide, I don’t feel my pores can actually improve from this product until I’ve used it regularly for at least a couple weeks (or more).
I do have an issue with the rather strong floral scent that I assume is from rose and lavender extracts. I notice the lavender a lot, and it’s a scent I don’t care for and often doesn’t agree with me. My sensitive skin hasn’t become visibly irritated, but my skin doesn’t feel as calm and comfortable as it does with my favorite unscented sunscreens. I’d like this better without the fragrant botanicals. 3.5 stars. Made in USA.

i wish the cream applied thinner or absorbs quicker. The cream is quite thick and oily, and also having a plastic-like smell. in terms of protection, however, it does appear to do what it is supposed to. I just wish that the cream would spread easier for easier application.

The Dermalogica Porescreen Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 40, Sun Protector and Pore Supporting Primer with Zinc Oxide, Multitasking Premakeup Sunblock – 1 fl oz comes in a box with a safety seal on the top. The expiration date on the bottom of the box was a 18 months in the future from the time I received the product. The product itself is in a tube with a pump.
This is a thinner sunscreen. I found that it absorbed fairly quickly. The tint is subtle, but does help keep the sunscreen from leaving a tell-tale white cast. This is a mattifying sunscreen.
I’ve found this sunscreen to be effective in protecting my skin from the sun. It hasn’t dried out my skin or caused my skin to break out.
I do not see any added fragrance, but this sunscreen does contain linalool, which some people are sensitive to. The fragrance of the sunscreen is just okay, but I don’t notice once it is on my face.
This is a pricey sunscreen, but I like it quite a bit.

This sunscreen comes out grainy looking – even when I made sure to shake it really well. It blended great on my skin, though, and did not leave a white cast. My medium toned skin often shows a white cast, but this one blended. It didn’t make me look pale or washed out.
It does have a blurring effect on my pores, which is great for summer. My pores always looks worse in the summer, so this is a welcome boost.
This feels a bit thick, but it’s not bad for a mineral sunscreen. I’ll take the trade off of good sun protection, pore minimizing, and primer effect. Feels ok under makeup.

This is a pore minimizer and mineral sunscreen primer. It is advertised as have a slight tint but i have found absolutely no tint in the product. It is very light weight and a little goes a long way. It is not sweat and water resistant so I use this as a primer under my make up on days I will not be working out. I haven’t noticed and bad reactions or any sunburns while wearing. I have attached pictures of me using this product under a full face of makeup before and after taken in natural light with no filters.
I hope you find my honest review including pictures of the actual product being used helpful.

I really like this mineral face sunscreen. It’s very thin and light, makes it easy to apply as a moisturizer on my face. I’ve worn it as my primary face protector the last few weeks when I’ve been out to the beach several times and I’ve gotten burned on my body in several places I missed but never on my face. This stuff does it’s job. Would buy again.
