I have searched and searched for a product that works for my daughter — she has somewhat coarse and wavy hair, and can’t tolerate products with any fragrance (even natural fragrance.) Everything we’ve tried before this product has been ineffective with managing tangles and preserving her curls, but this has been a total game changer! We use the Deva Curl Fragrance Free No-Poo, Conditioner and Super Creme and it has been a game changer! So silky to comb through after using these products at night, and then again in the morning. Wish it was a little less costly, but honestly for such great impact and a bottle that will last a while, I’m still sold!

I had to stop using this shampoo due to the fragrance, gnats and mosquitos are crazy attracted to it and really makes going outside in the spring and fall annoying. Unfortunately almost all of their products have the same fruity smell that those insects love. Im switching brands to find a scentless or less flowery/fruity one. Too bad they don’t recognize that some people work outside and don’t want bugs attracted to their scent.

I ended up returning this when I received it when I saw the actual size, because it was way too expensive for the size. I have bought this several times at a beauty supply where I got a discount for being in the beauty industry. I got a much larger size for cheaper. I will do that again.
As for the product, if you have dry hair that tangles, the NO POO ZERO LATHER SHAMPOO is the shampoo for you. If you absolutely have to have a shampoo that has a thick lather and all the suds, then you won’t like this shampoo. It does not lather up and get sudsy. But it cleans VERY well.
If you have dry hair and your hair tangles with regular shampoo, then you will love this shampoo. It makes your hair feel very good after washing. Of course if you have very dry hair, you will also want to use a conditioner afterwards. I do not use the Deva Curl conditioner because I need a more Super hydrating conditioner. But this is the best no suds, hydrating, super cleansing, very best shampoo I have used for my hair where it does not tangle afterwards and it is not dry afterwards. It is really the only shampoo I found that I can use.
Even other shampoos that say they’re sulfate-free and all of that, nope! They do not work like this shampoo.
The only gripe I have about my purchase on Amazon is, as I said, it’s way too small for the price. It’s a really small bottle. If you can find a beauty supply that sells to the public, maybe that might be a better route. Or perhaps try eBay.
But, I highly, highly recommend this shampoo for very dry hair.

I don’t have curly hair but I am sick of the frizzy poofy mess I get when I use shampoo. I don’t shampoo often for the sake of my hair health but then it will come time for me to make my hair presentable but I have to wash it two days ahead of time or it will be poofy and look stupid and conditioner never made a difference. When I used this it definitely made my hair less greasy (not greasy at all) and it was also so soft. It was shiny and not frizzy or poofy at all.
I got this brand because they have fragrance free and it is truly fragrance free, no scent at all. I also thought that I had to use a lot because people said it didn’t lather. However I did not find that it was hard to use at all. Then again I have a pixy cut and my hair never tangles, so maybe it depends on your hair.

I have naturally curly hair with most of each side now gray. This is the best I’ve found for my hair’s current condition. It takes a little getting used to because it doesn’t really lather up. Ive been using this for at least 10 years. It is pricey but I love it!

I have been buying this Shampoo for almost 10 yrs now. It is the only shampoo that has worked really well for my thin, slightly curly, blond hair. Not much to say other than it leaves my hair feeling smooth and doesn’t allow it to get too curly after showering. I do wish it had more of a foofoo tropical aroma instead of the very potent mint smell. I will accept, though.
The one thing that kills me is the price. You really have to shop for this item to find it on sale. I have paid as little as $34 and as much as the current price of $52.!! I think $52. is way too much for this item, especially because if you wait for it to go on sale you can get it for almost a $20 price difference.
Shop smart and you will be happy.

I don’t love the smell but I love the effect! I can finally grow my hair longer than my shoulder.
I thought I had loose frizzy waves. After using this for a few months, it turns out that I have loose medium curls when my hair is healthy.
I use this twice a week, more often if I get actually dirty (construction work, camping). I do not follow with conditioner, that would be overkill for my hair.
Every few weeks I still like to use a regular conditioning shampoo.

I have been using this product for years. I have wavy hair, with this product it transforms my waves into curls. It is easy to apply and has a pleasant scent.

Love this shampoo, takes a bit to get used to it but i have very curly hair and it doesn’t seem to “strip” my hair of it’s natural oils so bad and my hair has way better bounce and less frizz.
