My hair type is between 3b and 3c and it requires products that are super moisturizing. I have been using DevaCurl styling cream for the past 5 years and while I have tried a lot of other products from different brands I always come back to this one because it’s the only one that my hair loves. It’s super moisturizing, smells great and extremely easy to use. My curls look the best when I use this product and I always get compliments on my hair. It is a bit on the pricey side but I don’t need to apply a lot of product to get the desired look.

I have used this hair product for about 25 years. My hairdresser used it on my hair and I loved how soft it made my hair and got so many compliments about the light scent. Unfortunately, the stores in my area no longer carry it. Luckily, I found it online at Amazon last year when my hairdresser moved away to take care of family. I ordered 2 and used them until I ran out, so I ordered another. It is not the same product at all. The scent isn’t as nice, and my hair is just not as soft. So I am currently looking for another product.

Live in a humid climate with lots of rain and hate to mess with your hair? That’s me. I’ve been using blow dryers and flatirons for years, with poor results. It has been years of frustration and who knows how much money on products sold at salons and in stores. Every year I’d pack up the barely used bottles and give them to a shelter. Finally, at the beginning of the pandemic, in early 2020, I stopped. I decided no more dyes, no more heat, no more treatments. I let my hair grow and chopped off the ends. About 18 months later, I had virgin hair and treated myself to a top notch curly hair salon, for a good cut. Deva products were used. I left I’m the rain and my hair did not frizz like it always did in the past. I’m using several Deva products, but this one is the holy grail. The trick is, after shampoo and conditioner, leave the hair dripping wet, apply moisture seal, to hands, rake and scrunch a few tImes, blot with a soft cloth (t-shirt is good) and let air dry or low heat but no wind. In other words, don’t disturb until completely dry This will lock out moisture that causes frizz. It works. I have baby fine hair, medium curl. No crunch, no goop, hair looks and feels like hair. I love it.

I’m always searching for the perfect combination to create the perfect curls. After washing my hair with some regular curly girl shampoo and conditioner from the store, I use this with the wet curls and my hair dries perfectly! A little fluffing along the way and voila! You’ll love it!

I went from having stick straight hair that was wash and go to a complete change over a two year period. Hello, curls (thanks, hormones!)!! I had no idea at all how to style it so I was going through this painful process of washing my hair, and then using the hair dryer and straight iron to make my hair straight again.
I’m a huge believer in working with what you’ve been given, so my stylist showed me how to use this product to get beautiful curls. I’m a low maintenance person, and this is exactly that!
I wash and condition my hair, brush it out. work a full pump of this product into my hair, brush it through, scrunch lightly, and go. My hair air dries and looks awesome! It isn’t stiff or crunchy at all, and I can’t even tell I have product in my hair (really important to me–I hate feeling sticky or crunchy). I get compliments on my curls. I love that I don’t have to fight my hair. Nobody has time for that!
Great product!! A bottle of it lasts a long time (I have hair past my shoulders), so don’t pay too much attention to the cost. It’s worth it!

A friend introduced me to this product and I was a bit skeptical. I must say. When my hair went gray in my early 50s it also became curly. I always had a hard time finding a product to hold in the curl that didn’t feel stiff or crunchy. Along came DevaCurl! This product is so easy to use and does a beautiful job. After washing your hair, you leave your hair, wet and do not cow dry. You take a small amount of the product in your hands rub your hands together flip your head over and start scrunch your curls while you’re in the shower. Try to let your hair dry as much as possible if you can, or you can use a diffuser to dry your hair. I do a little of both – – I air dry for a while, then finish it up with the diffuser. The curls look beautiful and sleek, and your hair is so soft and touchable. It’s like there’s no product in your hair at all if you are not able to wash your hair the next day, just wet your hands , and scrunch your hair to get your curls to go back into place. It may seem like a miracle, and it is. From now on, I will never use anything else for my curly hair. Try it – – you will not regret it!

I read that DevaCurl has a certified class action against them for harmful products. This product was not named in the action but it still made me weary and I tried to find another curl product. But, nothing seemed to work as good so despite the class action and because I’ve used this product in the past with no issues, I am using it again. That’s how much I like this particular product!

This product helps so much with my daughter’s thick and frizzy hair. It smooths her hair and helps the curls to take shape without leaving greasy and oily looking!

I really liked it because it’s so effective but I thought the price was a little steep. It’s going to be fine for winter but in spring and summer we go golfing and I wear a hat but the bugs like the black flies are bad, so I wouldn’t be able to use it in spring and summer. Would it be possible to get it unscented?
