Had a pimple that needed tackling and this thankfully did in fact come in and do the job. Took like 2 days but its great – albeit it can be drying to be on the money with that. Also the pricing isnt bad. I have never tried differin but i might have to be on the lookout for them

I really like benzoyl peroxide, but I’m not crazy about how it ruins my colored fabrics though. That’s the only problem with benzoyl peroxide. This is a 1 ounce tube of 10% BP, which doesn’t seem that big, but you only need to apply a very small amount.

I remember when Differin first came out when I was in middle school. It was prescription only, and did an amazing job. This spot treatment works just as well, if not better, and no longer requires a prescription. One application at night, and by morning my blemish was substantially smaller and not as angry looking. A little goes a long way, and does cause some drying, so do not use over your entire face.

Keep in mind this is a maximum strength treatment so it will no doubt be very strong. Even if you don’t typically have reactions to new skincare products, it is always a good idea to spot test before applying a lot of product to prevent any breakouts. It is typical for Benzoyl Peroxide to dry out your skin a little bit, so just be sure to pair with a moisturizer. This product is effective and a great solution for the price.

I am reviewing the “Differin Acne Spot Treatment with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, Maximum Strength OTC Acne Treatment, Fast Acting Spot Treatment for Face, 1 oz”

I decided to give this a try for my pre teen who’s poor face is breaking out like crazy with all of her raging hormones going wild!

We have tried other things, but mainly like mild face washes and things like that because she’s so young that Ive been trying to keep it as mild as possible. Not much has been helping and I saw this and thought we should give it a try!

We have been using this now for about 2 weeks or so and I’ve gotta say that I’m pretty impressed! It says to start out using it 1 to 2 times a day and working up to 3 times a day and we started at just 1 time a day (at night after washing her face before bed) and have actually stayed at the 1 time a day (just due to her age and trying to use as little as possible to be effective) and it’s actually working out pretty darned good! We aren’t noticing any excessive drying or anything irritating, nothing if the sort in that area and the 1 application a day has really cleared her skin up! She still has some spots around her face yet, but they are more of less “dried up” and still healing and the redness has subsided greatly as well as the shiny oily look!

So it seems to be drying things up as much as it needs to without causing excessive dryness to her skin! We’re still continuing to use it, and I’m not sure if it’s taking longer than it usually would because we’re only applying it once at bedtime but it’s working slower but milder and that’s ok with us! After she’s clear, we’ll save the rest to be used as a spot treatment like it’s intended to be used and if it keeps up like it has been so far -we WILL repurchase when we run out! The price point is also quite impressive too, honestly!

I fully recommend to this product!!

The box arrived open and the product did not have a seal, I don’t know if it should have a seal.

I used to use Differin back in the day with a prescription so was shocked to see this Differin Ac.ne Spot Treatment is available over the counter!

Yes, it is very drying. But it’s SUPPOSED to be! It really does wonders on my bumps and I’ve used a TON of different brands of spot treatments!

Huge fan! Love that it’s available over the counter and will be ordering again once I run out!

My teen with acne prone skin tried on a few spots. It has a drying out effect but it didn’t seem to reduce healing time compared to other spot treatments she’s tried.
