I was eager to try this style of hair dryer for curly hair but am a little disappointed. While there are two fan speeds and three heat settings, the highest heat setting is not available for the lower fan speeds. The highest fan speed and heat setting blows my hair around defeating the purpose of the diffuser. The dryer also takes way longer to dry my hair than my old regular dryer with a diffuser attachment. I will likely keep it for travel because it is very compact, but my search for a new dryer continues.
