Eight weeks post shoulder replacement, I have a few trigger muscle knots in my back with the biggest the size of a small egg making sleeping extremely hard. Also I have post op recovery pain in my shoulder muscles. I had only been able to sleep 1 1/2 hrs straight per night for the last 2 years. After only one day of use I doubled my sleep time to 3 hours and the trigger muscle knots were reduced greatly and have become pliable. Even my physical therapist had seen a big noticeable difference not only in the trigger muscle knots but in my shoulder/arm mobility range. After telling My therapist what I had used she wanted me to bring it with me to my appointment the next day. After 2 days use of the DMSO ALIE GEL I slept 7 hours straight as the trigger knots had reduced even more causing less pressure pain. On my next therapy appointment I took the DMSO with me to show my therapist. She in turn showed their resident PA and his remark was I’m all for it if it’s working especially THAT good. The smaller trigger knots have just about disappeared and the egg size muscle trigger knot is now marble size and still very pliable and this is just after a few days use. I’m feeling much better mentally, physically and much more rested due to the reductions in the back trigger muscle knots and being able to get a lot more quality sleep. People including my therapist have asked me if the DMSO with aloe gel leaves a warm or cool feeling. I tell them not to me. It’s totally neutral feeling on my skin and muscles. But you definitely can feel the relief immediately! My wife noticed a very light slight tingly feeling on her fingers after applying the DMSO GEL to my back but washes her hands afterwards as suggested on the label and the light tingly sensation goes away. This is by far the best ointment for muscle & joint pain and releasing muscle trigger knots that I have ever found and used! I highly recommend it to friends and anyone!

I have used 90% DMSO gel before and usually mix my own mixtures from pure DMSO. DMSO has absolutely always caused painful burning and itching worse than anything id ever experienced. Sometimes at high concentrations its really painful, to the point of me pacing around while clenching and unclenching my fists and breathing air as if I ate something spicy while sweating lol. I still use it because of the benefits and because it works for pain after the skin burning stops. This DMSO and Aloe gel though did not burn at all! I was so shocked at how gentle it is that I applied it all over my back and torso and neck and shoulders all at the same time. At a couple points over the next 20 minutes there was very mild itching and tingling in some areas, but many areas were not tingling or itching at all. Its really pleasant actually, to the point that I can even rub it all the way in instead of letting it sit and slowly absorb. I am happy to have found this gem.

I use on clean skin to clear the bruises I get from sports. Use an ultrasound device to get better penetration and faster clearing of the bruise. The gel form of this is ideal for use with an ultrasound. Also, this will utterly penetrate and disperse the enzyme from mosquitos. The DMSO on the bite might make it itch quite a bit but only for about 5-10 minutes, tops. If you can get over that, you can be sure there will be no itching ever from that bite. This will not be true though if you scratch the bite before applying, so I take a small container of this with me when I am hiking and so can apply immediately and I never have even a remnant of bite when I get home. Note: this did not work for no-see-um bites and not sure how it works for bee/wasp sting, but for sure, works great on mosquito.

Very pleased with product in that it does indeed do for me what DMSO does.. almost instantly relieves pain and swelling and redness when I have a new injury and my ongoing arthritis and failed back surgery syndrome. I have used DMSO gel sparinglyl for this purpose for over 20 years. The gel is lovely clear looking, the container is nice and full, didnt leak.
To apply to affected area, I dip the tip of one finger in just a little bit, and spread a thin film over the sore / swollen place. I get a light taste of garlic, which is a known side effect for some. (Some people say that they smell garlic, but my sense of smell is impaired, so I wouldn’t know!)
I bought this particular product as it also has aloe vera in it, which I normally use after applying DMSO. Otherwise, one may get redness, and or burning feeling of skin. (I don’t, but my husband has very delicate old man’s thin skin, and he complains of burning.
The aloe in this product did seem to prevent that irritation, but left the application area very sticky. I finally took a damp washcloth and wiped the area clean. (the DMSO has already absorbed through the skin, into the inflamed area.) Because of the stickiness from the Aloe, next time I will buy the DMSO and Aloe Vera gel separately, although this quantity will probably last the rest of my life!
The stickiness from the aloe is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Aside from the stickiness, It works wonderfully, DMSO gives relief like nothing else, and this product has the ideal percentage of DMSO (70%).
