I was a little apprehensive about committing to such large bottles of shampoo. and conditioner without trying them first, but after five days of daily use, I’m pleased with my choice. My hair is very fine and straight, which can be tricky for finding products that don’t weigh it down or make it too dry. This new iteration from DoTerra works great! My hair is also colored (blonde) and so far, so good.

I have used Doterra shampoo for well over 5 years now. I was very excited to see that they have a new shampoo and conditioner to try that is twice the size for around the same price as the one I usually purchase. The first use gave me a feeling similar to that of a sunburn all over my scalp. I have never had a reaction to a shampoo before and I was out in the sun so I chalked it up to me just being crazy instead of a product issue. Second use and my scalp is hurting so bad I am in tears. I tried washing with different shampoo to get the residual product out to no avail. The damage to my scalp is lingering. It’s been a full 24 hours and I am cringing at the pain. Do not buy this. No one else should feel this way from using shampoo.

I feel like I just wasted a LOT of money! I absolutely loved the older version and had just run out. I decided to try the “new” version and am very disappointed. I Amy as well have bought a drugstore brand. The scent is not good. The conditioner is useless for any kind of detangliing effect. I miss the old formula!

I have no clue why doTERRA changed the formula for this shampoo and conditioner but it’s gross. The conditioner is like putting melted candy in your hair, it’s almost impossible to brush/comb without detailing mist
