I love the scent, and prefer this men’s deodorant over women’s. I don’t think any non-aluminum chloride deodorants have antiperspirant qualities but this one is easy to hold and spray, and I love the scent. It’s fresh and not too strong.

It’s well-known common knowledge that aluminum is bad for us. Yet, in the US, it is nearly impossible to find a deodorant that isn’t an antiperspirant, which of course is loaded with aluminum.
When I was in Rome, all of the deodorants were labeled 0% aluminum and some were also 0% alcohol. I should have stocked up. Some deodorants there, such as Dove, have the exact same packaging here in the US, but they are also antiperspirants.
So, I turned to Amazon and came upon this Dove spray deodorant with no aluminum.
You can absorb wetness with a t shirt and some body powder. Clogging your pores with a dangerous metal that affects the Central nervous system and brain is insanity. Aluminum salts, food additives, dyes, and preservatives are all banned in Europe. Why hasn’t the US caught on?

I like the fact there’s 0% aluminum in this product, usually other anti-perspirant irritates my skin but this doesn’t. Only flaw is I’ve noticed these spray cans sometimes come defected and doesn’t spray a mist but sprays liquid for a second even if I’m not pressing the nozzle down

I’ve used this exact spray deodorant for a few months and had been getting it from Target. They’ve been out for the past few weeks so I turned to Amazon to order it. These do not work at all even though they are supposed to be the same thing. They just smell like alcohol and burn the entire time they are on your skin. Hopefully the local store will get it back in soon so I can get it there.

Every time I tried to step away from the use of aluminum chlorohydrate or aluminum zirconium, the results were not good. The body odor or excess sweating would eventually occur. I’ve tried other products that didn’t use those ingredients, but the results weren’t good. I switched to this deodorant when I broke out from another that I had been using for a while. The long-term unknown health risks were too high to keep using those salts from metals. I think the FDA turns a blind eye to some of this stuff. Look at the foods that are banned in other countries that are allowed here in the US. Definitely don’t know if they have our best interest in mind all the time. Give it a try! I hope this helps!

I used to use native but they changed to formula and it wasn’t working in controlling my odors . Now that I changed to dove I feel more comfortable

A nice aluminum free deodorant that finally does not burn my armpit. But the major problem is it barely lasts 6 hrs, instead of 48 hrs as it is advertised. Have to spray it twice a day…!!!
