I usually use the dove coconut bar soap and decided to give this a try as a little splurge. In the box it smells great, once it’s wet there a must? I’m not sure, it not horrible but it’s a little like “huh, what is that?”. It’s a lot more drying then doves typical bar soaps, this leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean but more in lime a very tight way. I always use a moisturizing body wash after my bar soap so it’s not that big of a deal, but I’ll definitely be going back to the my traditional, tried and true, dove bar soap after I finish these. All in all, it’s soap and it does what soap is supposed to do.

Ever since I saw the advertisements for these plant bars, I knew I had to get them! It smells really rich and delicate, and if you’re a fan for coconut, you might want to get one as well! Needed another coconut product (also love lychee!!) to match the brown sugar and coconut butter body scrub I have from Dove! The ingredients claim to have better alternatives than what would usually be in some soaps, so I am excited to see if there is a difference with this soap on skin vs. other soaps!

I have used Dove products for years. This was new so I thought I would try it. The soap is actually very good. Not as drying as the other soap bars on my skin. The problem is the color. In a white soap dish it takes a long time to dry, soooo, the brown soap coats the bottom of my soap dish and looks awful! It does not look like a soap that I would want to pick up and use again. Simply said, when you work so hard to clean your bathroom sink, you don’t want to look at a soap dish that looks dirty!!

I love Dove. I’ve been using Dove products since I was a little kid and so has my mother.
I’ve used body wash/liquid soap, but I always go back to using their beauty bars.
Partly of childhood nostalgia, and also, less wasteful.
These bars are square shaped which is different from their original shape, but the quality of them is still the same.
The scent is amazing and even my husband wanted to try them out just because of the smell.
My everyday scent always has something coconut in it, so this worked perfectly for me. It smells of coconut with a hint of sweetness to it.
They lather really well, especially with exfoliating gloves, and rinse off great as well without completely stripping your skins barrier.
For a set of 4 bars, I think the price is reasonable. Especially for a unique scent, but also because of the quality.
I’ll be ordering more of these , over my lavender ones. I absolutely love the smell of them and my skin is always so soft.

As we know the reputation of Dove, we know that this is a winner……..smells amazing and no need to tell you how soft it leaves my skin…a little pricey, but for me worth it….
