I like the way this soap makes my skin feel, I like the way it lathers up and it seems that I have to rub less on my skin to get a good lather than other brands of soap I’ve used in the past. I love the scent of peppermint and this soap has a very good peppermint scent.
I do think this soap would benefit greatly from a dedicated soap dish because I think it dissolves pretty rapidly when the shower droplets hit it. And it’s quite expensive. That’s why I’m removing a star and giving this 4 stars. But it’s great soap!

Overall, Dr. Bronner’s peppermint bar soap is wonderful. Scent is a good pick-me-up and lasts until the bar is gone. Only downside is that the bar disintegrates/dissolves relatively quickly. With only one person using it daily in the shower, a single bar does not last an entire month.

So maybe you’re like me and you’ve just accepted that all the little bumps and imperfections are your skin aging. I certainly had. But during the pandemic, I kept reading about how we are using the wrong soap on our bodies. Men tend to use body wash that is technically detergent. It doesn’t clean as well as real soap and can dry your skin out.
These bars are very inexpensive so I figured I’d take the chance. It smells great and leaves the skin with a slight tingling feeling. It lathers very well.
The best part? After about a week, all of the little bumps on my shoulders and neck were gone. My skin wasn’t dry and peeling anywhere. Redness in my skin dissipated. My skin feels so good everyday. I don’t even need to use lotion anymore!
In short, this product has been around a long time for a reason. Don’t get fooled into fancy soap that costs a ton and promises miracles. The best soaps have been around forever, so just use this!
PS: Make sure to get a soap dish so that your soap doesn’t “melt” and you waste portions of your bar. They don’t cost more than 10 bucks.

I was a newb to natural products. Decided to try some of this soap based on recommendation from my brother-in-law. I think the bars last about the same time as a bar of Dial, but this soap leaves my skin feeling softer, and the scent is very strong – which I like. Just a note that the peppermint scent WILL give you an icy hot sensation around your private areas haha, but you get used to it.
