I’m big on using all natural stuff especially when it comes to personal care and since I’ve discovered Dr Bronner products I haven’t turned back. I use it for everything, shampoo and body wash. Plus 1 bottle will last you AGES. Definitely worth the money for the quality, longevity and usability of the product. Can’t recommend it enough! Only way I’ll stop using this is if I find something even better but that’s going to be very difficult to find!

    – Viscocity
    – Dilution need, makes it like water, even worse.
    – Freezes at the tip of the dispenser you put in.

Overall a very. bad product. No use.

High-quality product that is not watered down. Amazing smell and clean feel on my skin and hair.

It works well as shampoo plus conditioner, facewash without affecting/drying out scalp and skin. People complaining about the price probably dont know they should dilute it with oil(almond oil and coconut oil is best along with just 4-5 drops of castile soap) while using as facewash and with water when shampooing. 4 Ounces bottle lasted me more than 1 year. It is value for money considering you dont have to buy any other chemical cosmetics.

Beautiful product with great lather, slightly stale-ish soapy smell but quite expensive unfortunately

We recently discovered tea tree oil and have been using it to clean around the house & adding to the washer. I bought this dr. bronners tea tree soap to try as body wash almost as a joke because my bf became almost obsessed with tea tree, carrying a spray bottle around with him. I didn’t like the fact that it’s thin and watery at first because I was used to thick creamy body wash. but i found if you sprinkle a modest palmful and then rub your hands together, you can get a little lather and it is enough for the whole body. then after a few days i thought i’d give it a try as shampoo. just about a quarter sized puddle created enough of a lather to wash my very long and somewhat thick hair. my hair felt really weird afterward, while still in the shower it felt dry and i couldn’t get my fingers thru it and i thought “uh-oh!” but i conditioned with a natural conditioner and it brushed out fine. later i was shocked at how great my hair felt! so clean and soft, not at all dry! i liked it so much that i decided to use a teeny bit (couple of drops) lathered up and applied to my face. after just a day or two my skin looked so good. my pores were smaller and my skin was softer and the color was more even. normally i get dry skin on my nose and some irritated blemishish on my chin. i normally have some whiteheads here or there — all of this was gone! i have been using super expensive face wash, toner, etc. and all i needed was this cheap soap?? OK so the best thing, my teenage daughter who is a self-proclaimed diva has now discovered this. she noticed my hair and skin. she tried it. i could not believe she would like something that smells super raw and natural, normally the more flowery and sweet the better for her. no, she just asked me this morning if she can switch over! we are sold. i am going to try the peppermint for handwash in the bathroom like someone suggested and im getting a gallon of the tea tree for the showers. SO HAPPY i discovered this soap!

This is a great version with Tea Tree oil and annoyingly not available in my local market. I do find it a refreshing cleanser for hand washing, but everyone knows that castille soap has many uses. I would reorder it again.

Tea Tree has always been my favorite version of Dr. Bronner’s, and I find that its extremely good at controlling facial oil. These little bottles make perfect gifts in a care package, or samplers if you don’t want to commit to buying a full bottle/carton of Dr. Bronner’s (as even as a big fan of theirs, the next smallest bottle is still quite large). I’ve long since finished off the soap within both of these, but they can be easily refilled with a refill carton or larger bottle of whatever liquid soap you choose, and become the perfect travel soap container. I also keep one of these in the shower and just refill it, as its much easier to shake out a couple drops from these small bottles than handling the big bottle of Dr. Bronner’s.

I made the mistake of not reading the label prior to use (I’m sure many could relate)
The ph of this stuff must be 9+. I used a small amount on my body (no problems), a tiny amount on my face, and scrubbed a tiny amount on my nose. Big mistake. Dried out my face, and burned red my nose. Apparently shower water is not proper dilution.

I took an old dawn dish soap bottle and rinsed it out very well, filled it with 75% water and 25% of this soap and now it’s safe and sane to use. Still a bit drying, but no more burning, so be sure to apply a moisturizer on the face at least after use.

    Will continue to use because

1- It kills acne. Perhaps with the fiery hell of a high PH, but nothing that works for acne is really pleasant, and unpleasant it may be, it’s working great. Very rough stuff, but very clean.

2- I don’t imagine I will EVER run out of it. It only takes tiny dimes of the diluted stuff to do the trick.

This is the only soap I use. Tea Tree is good for all uses.
Everything on the bottle says DILUTE, DILUTE, DILUTE.
I am mystified by reviews who say it is too strong because they attempt to use it full strength right out of the bottle.
Always put some soap in another squirt container and dilute with water to your desired strength. I do about 1/3 soap to & 2/3 water. The instructions on the bottle say to DILUTE even more. Yes, there are actual instructions on the bottle!
Also, Tea Tree is much more than a “scent.” If you read about precious Tea Tree oil, you can discover many fine properties that make it like a natural antibacterial soap. I keep a bottle of straight tee tree oil around for all minor cuts & scrapes, etc. It is strong and very healing.
All Dr. Bonner’s soaps are intended to be used diluted and have fine properties and uses beyond just a nice smell. There are NO harmful & useless foaming agents or detergents, like we have erroneously been taught to expect by TV commercials.
I also often like to use the Dr. Bonner’s peppermint soap for my upper body & limbs. Peppermint is a natural mosquito deterrent that smells great to us. Even diluted, the peppermint is too tingly for sensitive areas for me. Common sense comes in very handy when using anything with these high quality essential oils. So do not miss out. Do not return it because it is too strong. DILUTE it!

…there’s nothing I could say that so many others have not already said, except perhaps they don’t sell the Rights to the Soap to Gates😉!
