First of all, I do not recommend these for sensitive skin. The burning from these pads feels like an actual chemical peel. If you’re used to peels, rock on.

The seal inside of the package was easy to remove (and I’m glad it was included unlike with some brands). The pads are large enough to easily be used on my entire face and hold up throughout the process without breaking apart. The first time I used one, I had only done a little section of my face before the liquid started to feel like an actual chemical peel…. as is burning that I wanted to scratch but knew I couldn’t. I quickly did the rest of and left it for a few minutes before neutralizing with baking soda and washing it off, however the directions specifically state to leave it on.

The next day I tried it again and I was able to leave it on that time, although I had to rub my face to stop myself from scratching it.

The pads helped to flatten and get rid of a few angry new pimples that were forming. Overall my skin feels more calm. I will use these whenever my skin is acting up. I would recommend for oily, acne prone skin. Just be aware that they’re *very* strong.

I picked these up for my daughter. She’s 18 and while she doesn’t have severe acne, she’s noticed that during the past 5 months or so, she’s developed areas covered with small red bumps that are acne. She’s always had really clear skin and was kind of at a loss about what to do about it. So of course, she came to MOM and wanted me to fix it. I think it basically boiled down to the fact that she didn’t have a daily skin routine and she definitely needed on, especially living in the dorms. So we talked about cleansers/ pores/makeup, etc. And then I found this product which I felt would work perfectly for her and would fit into the routine she was creating. It couldn’t be something that would take a bunch of time and involve multiple steps, so this seemed like the perfect answer. She cleanses her face and then treats the acne areas with one of the product-filled wipes and within a weeks time she was seeing results. Her forehead and cheeks are now clear of everything. She keeps using it on her whole face daily because she wants to keep the pores cleaned out and in a healthy functioning state. She’s pretty impressed with the difference it made in such a short time. She did give some (in a ziploc bag ) to her older sister to try on her areas of cystic acne to see if it would help. It obviously must have since she called 2 weeks later and wanted me to send her the link to the product on Amazon so she could order some. So yeah, they work well when you use them (I’ve got teenage girls, the biggest problem with stuff like this is GETTING them to use them how they’re supposed to) and they work fairly quickly. It’s definitely something they’ll continue using just because of how easy and effective it is.

Works well in dark skin. Impressed. Cleared up my break outs in two weeks. Superior product to others I have tried.

The product container has an outer box. The product container is nice, thick, durable plastic. There’s a nice safety seal on top when you remove the cap.

The pads are decent size and extremely wet. Not where they’re going to be dripping, but where they are potent. I don’t have sensitive skin at all, but these definitely caused a little stinging, mostly in the areas where I was suffering from breakouts. The stinging went away as soon as my face dried. They really helped my pimples go away quicker. There is a slight scent. Not too strong, but noticeable when first removing the pad. It smells kind of like medicine I suppose. But nothing where I wouldn’t want to continue using them.

At first, when I saw the price ($42 at the time of writing this review), it seemed like a lot! But, you get 45 pads, so that’s a little less than $1 per pad. So, that’s not that bad. Whenever products seem expensive, I always try to look at it like that, to see if it is worth it to me. With that breakdown, it is worth it to me. With how well they’ve worked for me, I’ll definitely buy them when I run out!

I don’t know how well this works to eliminate acne because it burns every time I tried to use it. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but every time I applied it, my skin would burn like crazy until I washed it off. I tried 3 different times (thinking that maybe my skin was a little sensitive or it was a fluke). I am very happy with other products from this skincare line, but this was a huge disappointment. It is completely useless, and I wouldn’t give it to anyone else so in the trash it goes.

Used these for years it’s the only thing that eliminates my hormonal acne.

I purchased the Dr. Dennis Gross DRx Acne Eliminating Pads hoping to combat occasional breakouts and clogged pores. I have LOVED other Dennis Gross products I’ve used before so wanted to give this a try. While I don’t typically have sensitive skin, I found these pads to be quite harsh and not suitable for daily use.

The pads come in a convenient container with 45 treatments, which is a decent amount for the price. However, upon using them, I experienced a burning sensation that was quite uncomfortable. Although the packaging indicates that some tingling may occur, the intensity of the burning was unexpected and persisted for some time after application.

While I believe these pads are powerful and might effectively address acne, oily skin, and clogged pores for individuals with less sensitive skin, I cannot imagine someone with more sensitive skin being able to tolerate them at all. It’s essential to exercise caution when using these pads and perhaps perform a patch test before incorporating them into your skincare routine.

Overall, I’m torn about these pads. On one hand, they seem potent and might do the job if you can withstand the burning feeling. On the other hand, their harshness makes them difficult to recommend, especially for those with sensitive skin. Therefore, I’m giving them a three-star rating.
