  1. Friendly Feedback

The “Dr.Jart+ Cicapair Redness Rescue Travel Size Value Kit, Suitable for Sensitive Skin” kit is a great introduction to the Dr. Jart line – a well known Korean brand for sensitive skin!

Summary – great if you have sensitive, reactive, eczema/rosacea skin, well known brand with cica aka. ‘tiger grass’ a superstar in sensitive skincare, quality sealed products that will last a long time!

I am the perfect person to test this – I have adult acne, and although my skin never used to be sensitive, it was always red and in the past year, has become reactive to a lot of things – I had a big allergic reaction a week ago and my skin is left dry/oily/texturized/and red. In my photo I show my skin before- mostly healed but still sensitive. Then after the wash –

Everything is sealed with a little tab to pull off, so it’s fresh!
The wash – foams nicely, almost no scent but a sliiiiiight metallic tone if I had to pick? Felt nice, removed my thick nightly lotion from the night before and didn’t feel tight afterward.
The cream – a slight green hue but goes on invisibly. I thought I felt a slight tingle but it could just be my skin is so sensitive, even gently applying cream tingles. It didn’t sting and it dried invisible, not greasy, not overly matte. Felt nice. Put it in my elbow crease too and no reactions there.
The color correcting cream – I already have a full size of this and it is literally over a year old and I”m not even half way though- so this size I would actually prefer to keep it fresh! and it is great depending on your skin. It’s a mineral sunscreen so there is an obvious white cast depending on how much you apply. I took this to Japan in the spring when it was cooler than Im’ used to, and my dried out skin did show horrible flakes and dryness, although the cream felt really nice. If I apply this thick, it’s almost like full coverage foundation, and it will stay ‘dewy’ if that’s your thing – but I find it transfers and feels sticky unless I set it with powder, which does emphasize dry flakes. HOWEVER if you use just a bit, like sunscreen, it fades into my skin invisibly with just a hint of coverage over my red patches. Just depends on how red you are, and how much coverage you want. It has never broken me out.

Overall, the sizes of these items are a bit more than say a free trial size, this would be perfect for a vacation of 2 weeks – a month in my opinion. If you have sensitive skin, you may have heard about the start ingredient here ‘tiger grass’ aka Cica which is all the rage in sensitive skincare. I highly recommend this kit if you’re curious about Dr. Jart and if you have redness especially rosacea or eczema like me. I wish the cost was cheaper, but honestly this set will late you quite a long time!

The Cicapair Redness Rescue Travel Size Value Kit is specifically designed for individuals with redness-prone skin, making it the perfect solution for those with sensitive skin like mine. The kit includes a full skincare regimen in travel-friendly sizes, making it convenient to take on-the-go or use as a trial before committing to the full-size products.
Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment, which is a green-to-beige color-correcting cream that helps to neutralize redness and even out skin tone. I was impressed by how lightweight and breathable the formula felt on my skin, and how it effectively covered up any redness without looking cakey or feeling heavy.

The kit also includes a Foaming Cleanser, Treatment Toner, Serum, and Cream, all of which are formulated with soothing ingredients like Centella Asiatica, Tiger Grass, and Houttuynia Cordata to calm and restore irritated skin. I noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin after incorporating these products into my daily skincare routine. My skin felt more hydrated, balanced, and less red and irritated.
Overall, I highly recommend the Dr.Jart Cicapair Redness Rescue Travel Size Value Kit.

I am in love with everything included in this travel set! I have combo skin, sensitive, rosacea, and am pale. If you’d like to see the ingredients lists for each product, they’re in my photos. For most of the products, niacinamide is decently low on the ingredient list, just fyi. I haven’t experienced any irritation so far.

The tiger grass color correcting cream has a lovely finish. I can get away with not wearing foundation over it, but it evens my skin out so well that I definitely have to add some color back in. If you want to wear it on its own, any shine can easily be toned down with setting powder or spray if needed. It still looks great at the end of the day, really long lasting. A little goes a long way, so this jar should last awhile. It blends really easily, too. Does pair well with my other makeup.

The Cicapair foaming cleanser is super gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped of moisture (it contains glycerin!) I feel like it does a pretty good job of removing residue, but I do use a gentle micellar water first to make sure my sunscreen and stuff dissolves before I actually wash with a cleanser.

One of my favorites so far is the Cicapair intensive soothing repair cream. It’s a thicker, waxy/silky type cream, but it doesn’t take a ton to cover your face. It’s green coming out of the tube, but there’s no color once applied to skin. It has so many high quality ingredients to help repair skin’s barrier, soothe, and lock in mousture. I personally wouldn’t think this would wear well under makeup; I think it’s more for PM routine use. It is incredibly nourishing and really helps my skin a lot.

Lastly, the intensive soothing repair serum mask feels amazing. It’s a cellulose sheet mask with a gel like fabric, packed with serum. I wore it for about 20 minutes and massaged in any remaining serum. It’s incredibly hydrating, cooling, and soothing. It contains a lot of the same ingredients as the aforementioned cream.

If you’d like to dip your toes into the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair line, I’d highly recommend giving this kit a try to see if your skin agrees with the commonly used ingredients between the products. As someone with sensitive/reactive skin and rosacea, I’m really thrilled that I can actually use all the products.
