Too early to tell if it works to restore/strengthen my thinning hair but I LOVE the scent. It smells like Hazelnut coffee to me. It was delivered in this Houston heat so the oil was rather loose when I opened the jar. It solidified to a gel consistency after a few hours. I scooped out a fingertip and rubbed it between my fingers before massaging it into my scalp. It’s a nice smooth thick oily texture on the skin. Instructions say to rinse it out which I didn’t initially understand. But after leaving it in for a few hours I did. It solidified on my strands and appeared to be product build up.
I hope this works as it should. I would love to keep using it because of the scent.

It melts in your hand but not runny so it’s easy to apply, good scent but it washes away after shampoo. You may need two rounds of shampoo especially if you apply it on the roots but it’s worth it. I have been using it once a week or two on my wavy/curly hair and it gave shine to the hair and leave the hair smooth! It’s worth to try it!

It has been about 3 weeks and I am seeing progress. I am also taking a multi vitamin because there must be a logical reason for hair loss. I recognize that my hair has grown a bit. I have less breakage. My hair is not as dry as before.
My Grand daughter does not like the smell but I have no issue with the smell, I actually like it. The smell does not last very long.
Give it time and ensure that you are using a proper shampoo and conditioner. Have your blood check for deficiencies and hormones. Avoid stress.

First of all.. this review is not a bad review. I purchased this trying to help with my CCC alopecia. It did good. The instructions say to leave it in for 30 min and rinse out however, I used mine right after a fresh shampoo and condition as a leave in. It works great. I did learn through research, this is not all Batana oil. Batana oil is brown and smells kinda like coffee. This has the smell and not the color which leads me to believe it’s not 100% batana. Also, my neighbor actually went to Honduras and purchased me some raw batana oil. Huge difference. Either way, this was not bad at all, I just wish I knew what else was in it.

I’ve been using this for almost 2 months. My hair feels healthier, no more split ends, brittle hair that breaks off, and has a healthy shine. I use this twice a week by starting at the roots and then brushing it out to the ends. My 3 daughters are now using it with their hair extensions. The like that it has almost no scent to it, isn’t greasy, and easy to work with on their own.

I am glad I added this oil to my routine 2 months ago. I have noticed less shedding and my scalp is no longer inflamed (I had an irritation from an unrelated product and searched for natural products to replace that one with) which is a prayer truly answered! While I am waiting for my scalp to heal, I haven’t had any bad reactions from this oil. The smell reminds me of a coffee flavored protein shake, which isn’t bad- just strong. A little product goes a long way, plus I only use it once every two weeks before washing my hair.
I follow the instructions, massaging the product into my scalp and on my ends, leaving it on under a plastic cap for 30 mins-1 hour, and then washing it out with mild temperature water and following with my shampoo and conditioner/hair mask. It is the most therapeutic part of my wash day routine, and I have noticed my strands are stronger and more elastic. I will update on noticeable hair length growth once my scalp heals. I do recommend giving this oil a try if you want something natural, non-harmful, to reduce shedding and add to your self care regimen.

Used this a few times now, not only on my hair but as a skin moisturizer. It definitely has an earthy coffee like smell, somewhat pleasant. The product melts with body heat nicely and applies smoothly. My hair definitely looks shinier and my skin softer. Whether it’s helping to thicken my hair I have no idea yet. But so far, I like it as an additional alternative to my other skin and hair oils.
