at first i thought “too expensive” and would never buy this stuff, than i said “OK i’ll try it”, glad i did, lasts longer than regular soap and no perfumey smell.

My husband has dry itchy skin and wanted to try some of the pine tar soap. Like most men he does not like girly soaps that smell or leave you oily or too dry feeling. He received this as a Christmas gift and gave it a shot and really liked how it left his skin feeling clean, exfoliated, but not dry and had a light manly smell. He asked me to get him some from amazon and I found another brand that seemed similar but a little cheaper and bought for him. While the other brand wasn’t bad he continued to say how much he liked the first kind he got and how the replacement brand just wasn’t as good feeling on his skin. So obviously I made it up to him and bought the largest pack available (5 pack) because this is the only soap he wants now and it’s cheaper to buy a bunch at once. He has since thanked me profusely for getting him the “good one” and how much better the exfoliating is in it. I will only buy this brand for him now…there is no going back to any other soap. If you have an extremely picky soap husband or maybe you are the hard to please one this is probably the soap for you. It may not be the cheapest, but it’s worth the little extra for the quality and happiness.

I love the Pine Tar Soap. It smells great but not too strong but my favorite thing is that it washes off cleanly and doesn’t leave a residue like most body washes. As I’m older it has helped with my crepey skin on my arms. My skin looks more moist and healthier. The bars don’t last very long (about a week) but well worth it.

This soap smells amazing. My wife loves it. It eliminated odorss well. It leaves my skin really smooth. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is because of what it does to the bath equipment. It left the bath tub so slippery what when I got up to get out I flipped, fell and lacerwyed my pinky. My bath tub has a non slip surface as well. So that’s why it’s not a 5 star product. Definitely don’t feel it moisturizes my skin. I always feel filmy afterwards. But I love the scent and feel like it holds decently well, especially when paired with the deodorant. All my lady friends like the smell though, and I feel like it holds up even against sweat and hard work. I’m a big man, and there’s nothing worse than a big fat smelly guy. So at least the soap helped me with not being smelly. Now I can have friends and nice things. Haha. But seriously, a great buy, smells great, and the bar has chips that work as exfoliants. My one gripe is that my shower looks dirty because the soap is so dark. So I definitely have to stay on top of daily shower cleaning after use.

From their beginning, this bar soap was my favorite. It smells fantastic and I love the exfoliating aspect.
The most important traits I pay attention to:
1. Longevity – Using everyday I get at least 3-4weeks of use out of 1 bar.
2. Scent – this smells very masculine and lasts on your body for over a full 24hrs
3. Exfoliation – I want my bar soap to clean me in the best possible way and this does that, you can feel the dirty sections of your body as you scrub. Cleans you very well.
4. Health – They use all natural ingredients in this, I don’t have to worry about covering my skin in toxic chemicals. HUGE plus for me!
Overall I think this is the best bar soap you’re going to find out there. For the price, it’s totally worth it!
