I’ve since started buying thus soap from the Dr Squatch website since it’s cheaper on there, but it’d still pricey. Thr price is one of the two downsides, as well as it didn’t seem to last that long.

When the package arrived, I opened the box and could smell the cinnamon and cloves. I immediately logged in to Amazon so that I could return it. I didn’t want to smell like an older woman. I then decided to read some reviews and not be so hasty. After some consideration, I opened the plastic and smelled the soap up close. Wow! The pine and zesty orange came through and brought the scent up to manly status. This soap smells incredible! Bay Rum is quite an appropriate name. Sometimes I smell the soap just for the hell of it. It smells so good. Also, this soap produces a great lather and leaves your skin feeling soft and not lacking in moisture.
The downside is the price. Almost $10 on Amazon is too much for me. I’d have to be single and making $175k to justify buying it as it will probably last you two weeks at best. You could buy a cheaper soap of similar ingredients minus the scent because after you rinse off, the smell is barely noticeable on your skin.
I’ll probably buy a bar once a year or so as a treat for myself. Otherwise, the price is out of my league. The bottom line is, Bay Rum is a great, high-quality soap that smells incredible, but is too expensive for the average Joe.
