This is one of the best soaps to use when someone have sensitive skin to a lot of soap with perfumes and other additives.

Our skin cleared up and this soap can be use for all types of skin, dry or oily skin, you don’t feel itch or dried out from this soap.

    Very happy with this product

I have purchased this product repeatedly. It’s a really good product for the money and it doesn’t irritate my skin. Smells nice too.

My primary care provider recommended liquid black soap for my skin problems and it has done wonders for my so far. My once bumpy, rough arms and thighs (Keratosis pilaris) are now smooth. It was noticeably better after one shower (been using it a few weeks now). I use it all over and it has improved the skin on my face as well. Smoother smaller pores (surprisingly). I had a hard time getting all the dead dry skin off my face (makes makeup look pretty nasty). It’s not a miracle but it is very effective and super gentle at the same time. It does not lather as much as other soaps but it works so well that I don’t care. It smells nice and is not over powering. I hate strong perfume smells in my bath products.

My whole household is using it now. If your having skin issues I would recommend trying this soap. I plan to thank my PC when I see her.

Disclaimer: I chose this brand because of the reviews, I paid my own money. No one contacted me or solicited me to write this review. These days you need to be clear about that. I will be buying this going forward.

A lot of castile soap sometimes won’t lather, but this one does and I love that. I love how it smells too. It reminds me of lavender. I have pretty sensitive skin, and I’ve used it for a few years now. Love it. The pump that comes with it is pretty handy too!

The liter size is great, but the 3-pack does not come with a pump; however, the single liters are supposed to come with a pump and only do so about 50% of the time, which is rather frustrating needing to buy a pump instead of a complete fulfillment. Regardless, soap is great and last a long time. Good lather if you’re accustomed to using black soap like a castille soap. Hardly any scent, which I prefer.

I haven’t used any other African Black Soap before this, but I’m a fan of this. To start, it rinses very cleanly and leaves my skin (and hair) “squeaky” clean. I’ve also noticed that it doesn’t leave a film on my shower walls or the shower curtain. After using this over a month’s time, I’ve noticed a huge change in both my facial and body skin. The skin on my body used to be flaky, even with lotion. Now, I hardly ever use lotion and the flaking is gone. I’ve adopted a new moisturizing system using organic products, do along with the use of this soap my face is much less dry and the lines and wrinkles have definitely softened quite a bit. I also use this to wash my hair and I’ve noticed a huge difference there too. It is much smoother, looks healthier than it used to and I’m not struggling with dandruff (and itchiness) like I used to.

The viscosity of this soap is very similar to a dishwashing liquid. I have used it on a washcloth, a bath sponge and a body puff. There are a good amount of suds produced with all three of these, but I’ve found that the sponge holds the soapiness the best out of all three. Keep in mind that because there are no sulfates in this body wash, the soapiness won’t last as long as a “usual” body wash does (but that’s what contributes to dryness). That said, this does a pretty good job, although I do sometimes need to soap up again when using a washcloth.

I have also found that once I replaced both my old body wash and shampoo with this, I’m actually saving money (especially using Subscribe and Save to buy the 3-pack). I use about one 32oz bottle per month (with daily showering and washing my hair every 2 to 3 days). I’m spending around the same amount that I used to on body wash and shampoo, but then
I’m saving by not needing to purchase as much lotion and hair conditioner. The best thing that’s come of this though is that my skin and hair are both much healthier than they used to be. I will definitely continue to purchase and use this.

Best soap for dry skin. Works as a shampo as well. Not over drying. A good value. Removes make up well

Typical Castile soaps can leave my skin dry and ashy. This soap has a very mild scent along the lines of vanilla or coconut – I guess that’s the shea – and it’s more moisturizing than a regular Castile which strips the oils but doesn’t replenish moisture. I know people use this for hair and clothes. I have dry curly hair so I might try this as a shampoo but for now I’ve just been using it as a body soap and have enjoyed it. I still need a body oil for complete moisture. I prefer this over most bar soaps and it’s gentler than the more heavily perfumed commercial body washes which can be harsh on my sensitive skin even if moisturizing.
