This kit comes with almost everything you would need to do a tattoo. The only things you’re missing is the sanitation supplies such as green soap, paper towels, tattoo goo, etc. The machine itself is what I would call a medium in terms of how big the machine feels in your hand. The kit even included a little wristband and some stickers. The machine has 7 different stroke lengths all being clearly labeled so you don’t have to count the clicks. It is wireless and only comes with 1 battery so I would suggest getting another battery in case it dies in the middle of the tattoo. You can still plug it in with RCA cables but that is going to require buying a power supply. As for tattooing, it worked as well as you’d expect a cheap tattoo machine to work. Had some struggles but in the end, the tattoo came out looking great. If you’re first getting into tattooing this could be great to start with but if you’re serious about tattooing I’d recommend shopping at a higher price tier.

I like this machine a lot so far. It works well and tattoos smoothly. Not to mention it looks good and I love the colors & design. It’s a nice little starter kit and has most of what you need to get started tattooing. Dragonhawk machines usually do well for me. Would recommend

Metal housing. This pen is great and i love using it. Low vibration and comfortable to the hand. Adjustments are easy. The kit has everything to get you started straight out of the box. Great gift for that tat artist or someone wanting to see if they like tattooing.

This is a GREAT kit for beginners. It has 2 wireless batteries. That alone is enough to draw me in.
Aside from that, it comes with all the supplies that others come with: some ink, cartridges, grip tape, etc
This machine will probably not be the powerhouse that you use day in and day out as a professional, but if you’re an apprentice, you’ve struck gold

It was working fine and it has a lot of great features and may be arguably the best starter gun especially considering the price range but the battery went out on me in the first week. It was working fine and I was on my 6th practice tattoo then all of a sudden the battery went out. Won’t show anything on the screen or let me use the gun in anyway. I believe it’s likely a singular faulty problem because I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand but either way my batter just stopped turning on.

No doubt in my mind that this is one of the best running, quietest tattoo pens I have ever come across. It’s that impressive. I’ve tried so many in the past, and trust me… this pen is in a class of it’s own.
It has to do with the way the pen actually runs, not just the cosmetic aspect (which is very good, happily). This pen has a working voltage range of 4-12v, and it runs flawlessly at every level. It is so quiet that at 12v (the point where most other pens are screaming) I had to put it up to my ear to make sure it was actually running! Amazing.
Very smooth operation, and a great digital LED readout at the top of the pen, built into the integral battery. The readout is very easy to use, and also shows the remaining battery life. By the way, concerned about running out of battery in the middle of a piece? This kit comes with two battery packs. Simply screw off the old one, and screw the fresh one back on. Comes with USB-C charging cable, as well.
The controls are very nice, and simple to use. There’s an on-off button, a “+”, a “-“, and a “mode” button. You can use 1/10v increments with the plus and minus buttons, or jump larger increments with the mode button. Great!
The kit also includes some excellent needle cartridges, a roll of black grip tape, a single set of black latex exam gloves, a set of pre-printed designs ready for transfer, a sheet of practice skin, a tattoo design transfer sheet, and some really nice decals.
I can’t get over how great this kit is for the price. The pen is actually better than some I’ve seen/tried that were selling at 5 times the price!
I highly recommend this tattoo pen from Dragonhawk. It’s a sleeper bargain, and you won’t be sorry.
