in case you didnt know what the kit actually comes with (i didnt read it properly either), it comes with a small roll of grip tape, a few ink caps, one set of black gloves, a small bottle of ink, one sheet of fake skin, 10 3RL needles, 10 5RM needles and of course the machine (also what i think is a bracelet and some cool stickers!) while i am enjoying the gun to practice with fake skin, ive definitely been given a used/returned gun. thankfully i can properly clean and sterilize it with my equipment, however im just surprised it would be sent to me with all the dents on the box, finger prints on the machine and marks on the plastic. oh well! definitely has spit out the needle a few times like other reviews say but i find if you secure it a little tighter (it should make a little click sound) its fine. its a nice pen! speed adjusts easily, smoothly and it seems to have a long battery life. it came charged to what i assume is full and still hasnt died through approx. 4 hours of tattooing. donttttt rely on the fake skin it comes with, its incredibly thin and not suitable for proper practice, buy a separate pack of thick fake skin <3 i also wouldnt use the ink it comes with on real people but thats to be expected. have fun and be safe!

I got this gun a couple months ago and it has worked amazingly it’s a wonderful product except for the fact that the charger is the only type that will work for it and it just too short I had tried to use a longer charger and non of my type c chargers would work it’s a big issue if you lose the charger and should definitely come with either a backup or a longer charger mine was only about 2 feet and I couldn’t really find a place to set it down without it being low to the ground

I have purchased this and was a little skeptical going in as I’ve never ordered from Amazon before. But I was surprised as to how fast it was shipped down to south africa. The machine itself is wonderful and perfect if you’re just learning as it is lightweight and feels fairly comfortable. It comes with basic stuff that you need to start practicing with. I suggest purchasing additional ink as well as thicker tattoo practice skin as the one it comes with is rather thin and therefore wouldn’t give you the proper understanding on how needle depth would work. The needles I got was a box of 3rl and a box of 5rl (10 in a box) which would be substantial for starting out. I can not stress enough that as the name of this product suggests, it is a practice kit so DO NOT use the ink it comes with on human skin. But apart from all that, excellent product. I will check back in after some time with a follow up review as to how it goes.

Complete garbage! I’ve owned the dragonhawk x2 for 2 days! It stopped working with the cartridge inserted so it’s useless! I’m obviously disappointed I’m returning it tomorrow! Don’t waste your time on this alot of these reviews are not even taking about the same tattoo pen! Do not buy the dragonhawk x2 tattoo pen it’s complete garbage

I am really enjoying my new tattoo machine. I used to use the old school style of machine and I can say without a doubt that this pen style of tattoo machine is so much more convenient to use! The set up of the traditional machines requires so much work and tweaking that often when I felt like tattooing I would change my mind when I thought of all the work I would have to do to set up the machine. This new style is a breath of fresh air! Just pop in a needle cartridge and turn it on. Ready to tat! 🙂 No wires in the way, no pedals on the floor. No more bulky, awkward machine in the hand… this one is wireless and digital. The digital display is easy enough that a five year old could use it. It’s the length of a pen. Well balanced and comfortable in the hand. There is almost no vibration … and it’s much quieter than a traditional machine. It’s powerful too – even though it’s battery powered and can be used for many hours without recharging. Nice range of speeds too – all at the simple push of a button. I also enjoy the sleek, modern look of it. I’m proud to show off my new machine to family and friends. Awesome machine – definitely recommend!

It’s extremely useful for any sort of lining tattoo especially if you are an expert you don’t need to be afraid of these kind of machines. Personally I’ve been tattooing for around 10 years and I’ve been looking for something a little bit easier to use on the hands. It’s perfect. Low vibration. High speed results. Perfect lining, perfect shading saturation. It’s intense and worth the dimes.
