I’ve purchased, used and liked the original DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46 directly through DRMTLGY, but it left my oily skin too shiny (especially in the summer). When I saw that a matte version was available, I was very excited to try it. Being a Prime member through Amazon, I could not pass up the quick shipping.
After receiving and trying the product, I’m not happy. Although the product was sealed, it seems off. The texture of the formula is gritty, as if it was mixed with fine sand. It transfers much more than the original and the tone seems darker once it’s on – which is not the deal with the original.
When I put it on my skin, it feels abrasive. Once it’s on, my face looks much darker than my neck. When it’s on, it transfers very easily.
I’m going to return the product and try buying through the manufacturer directly. I’ve also reached out to the manufacturer to see if this is normal or not.
The product itself is okay, just not at the same quality I’ve come to expect.

This moisturizer protects well; almost weightless and has a subtle tint. That being said, the odor is really annoying. It works well, so I’m trying to get past the scent. Love that it is manufactured in the States. 💕

I love this product. It has a spf 46 mineral sunscreen, an anti-aging moisturizer and universal tint in one product. No need for a foundation or tint on top of it. It goes on moist and dewy, yet is not “shiny” after. It looks very natural. I was sckeptical of the “universal” tint”; however, it does work on any skin tone. I’ve tried others and they were either too Dewey/shing looking, too dry or caked looking or the tint was too light or dark. This is by far the best one.

Bought this based on a posting by an Instagram dermatologist and he was right, this tinted moisturizer is great! It totally gives off a glowing, glassy finish. There’s no scent, has sunscreen, and feels non-existent on the skin. If you have pretty clear skin and like the look of skin showing (through) (versus covered up), you can totally get away with wearing this instead of foundation , as the coverage is just right. Natural, but with an extra factor. Doubt I’ll be wearing foundation again anytime soon!

I love the dewy but not sparkly glow this moisturizer creates. It has the perfect amount of natural sheer coverage and it doesn’t look like I’m wearing anything (I don’t wear makeup). Just gives my skin a more even tone and the SPF works great. I use this as my primary face SPF when I’m going to be outdoors, and also as a moisturizer in lieu of foundation. It feels smooth and is not sticky or heavy like many other tinted mineral moisturizers. The bottle also lasts a decent amount of time so it seems like a good value. The odor is minimal.

I don’t wear makeup, but I do wear sunscreen. I love this product it’s not shinny like most sunscreens. It gives a beautiful even tone on my skin. I feel like I’m not wearing anything. I love skincare and this tinted moisturizer with sunscreen is worth every penny. I have tried other products and with my darker skin tone. Other products have left my face very light and don’t match my skin tone. But this product blends in perfectly! I’m so happy I found it. This is my second bottle. The first bottle lasted about 6months.

I love this product, light weight, nice moisturing effect ,sunscreen a plus….nicely evens out skin tones,without looking like you have makeup on.
However, my container was damaged upon arrival, product was leaking out the bottom..in fact the bottom of the container came completely off ! I bummed a container from My Daughter, and salvaged what I could , tossed the rest.
Needs to be better protected for shipping !

I will be the first to admit I have never heard of this brand and was a bit skeptical to order it, but so glad that I did. I love the way it goes on and the best part it is light and my skin is not breaking out in this AZ heat. I noticed that my skin looked a ton better after one use. I have been using this for about three weeks and my skin looks and feels great. Easy to apply goes right into the skin and I personally top off with my setting powder and some blush and boom good for the day. Love this product. You won’t be sorry trying it. Enjoy!
