I originally found this product by accident in a store looking for another brand, that was sold out. After I turned 40, my skin changed what felt like over night. Never had a problem with acne, not even as a teen, but I was getting huge pimples & they started leaving acne scars whether I popped or not. I was dermaplaning, microdermabrationing, microneedling, expensive daily microexfoliationing……after all the oning, it was not enough. After researching, it kept being suggested that women 40+ should add Retinol. I picked this up because after 3 years of fighting, I was near tears & within 2 days, acne gone (using 2x a day at 1st) & within a week scars were fading. Been using this over 6 months now (1x a day) & I get compliments on my skin all the time. I’m able to go out again without makeup. This continues to make the top 3 & 5 on lists for best retinol. I highly recommend & never go without again!

I was using a retinol that claimed to be high potency. I went through what they call “retinol purge” and broke out terribly. Then after about 2 months of using the other retinol product, the breakouts slowed, but my face still had a terrible texture and my large pores where still very visible. I have this app I found where I can take a selfie and it tells me my “Skin Score”. I used to have a skin alScore of 72 and my skin age was 52. I am 49 so to be told that I look like I’m 53 crushed me. Now, since using this retinol for the last month, my new score is 82 and my skin age is 42. I am so happy. I have checked my score on that app for the last almost 2 years and couldn’t do anything to get that score to go up. After all that time of checking my score and it not moving much, to see it now change dramatically, means the world to me. I am so happy with this product!! The texture of my face was a very low score of like 69 or 70 and now it’s 80! Yay!!!

Ok so I love this brand. And I think every they have is superior. But why do they have to be so TINY like it’s annoying. They have quality products but you’re either getting a tiny baby size for an affordable price or a regular size for a baller price. Like ummmm we aren’t all rich okay!?

The results of this gentle and effective product will surprise you. Use it in the evening and wake up glowing! The bottle lasts a long time I have read that the 1 ounce bottle will last for 5 months and that is using it twice a day. I was introduced to drunk elephant by an employee at Sephora. I started with the protini cream and fell in love. Since then I’ve purchased almost every single product they have. This little bottle of retinol is a MIRACLE BABY. My skin has a more even texture, it’s super soft, and I feel like it’s done a great job of reversing those fine lines and wrinkles, it’s non-drying, non-irritating, and works well under makeup and all of their products can be mixed with any other product they have taking the guess work out of skin care steps. If you’re debating on buying this product BUY IT. Drunk Elephant is a sustainable company and cruelty free they don’t test on animals, sell their products where animal testing is required and neither their suppliers or third party vendors test on animals. Most (not all but most) of their products are vegan. This retinol is my favorite product. I use it everyday sometimes twice a day, I love how it glides on and immediately makes me feel better about my skin.
