I was really disappointed that the previous brand from this company was discontinued. I did have problems with the nozzle, and I thought that I would not be able to use it. Evidently, you have to press the back of the nozzle not the top so that issue is resolved. I do like the way it sprays out and does not leave a lot of residue on the counters. Most importantly, it is a light spray that holds my hair in place without being sticky nor too heavy. Needless to say, I am happy with this product.

I have pin straight fine hair, Rum Punch gives my hair good hold throughout day. Little to no smell. Decent hold without Helmet head.

The Drybar Rum Punch Volumizing Hairspray firmly holds my styled hair in place for quite some time. I do like the scent of the hair spray. It’s fruity smelling, but not too overpowering of a fragrance. The volume of hairspray that comes out of the can is sufficient and the spray is pretty wide, which is nice. The only real complaints that I would have about the product is that it is a bit pricey and the locking mechanism on the can is kind of tricky to figure out (there are three clicks, rather than one for on and another for off). Overall, 2morrow approved!

This is an excellent hairspray. It holds without getting super stiff or flakey, and lasts all day. My hair stays but still feels soft and I don’t feel the need to scrub it clean at the end of the day because it doesn’t really feel like it adds residue or buildup.
This hairspray would be perfect if it weren’t for the scent. I can tolerate it for a while, but it is STRONG and can give me a headache. I’m assuming it’s supposed to smell like “rum punch” but it smells like roses or some other floral scent to me. And since it’s on my head, it creates like a cloud of scent ALL. DAY. LONG. It does not dissipate or go away. I turn my head and catch a whiff. It’s not a TERRIBLE scent, but it could be better – less floral, less pungent. It would be the perfect hairspray if not for that detail.
