I can’t imagine a better belly butter. It rubs in nicely and sinks in almost immediately — even when you put a heavy amount on, it sinks into the skin within a few minutes. It has a subtle, pleasant citrus smell — trust me, all sorts of smells have been overwhelming and nauseating, but this is nice and natural smelling. And it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Since becoming pregnant, I’ve been sensitive to everything and some skin products that used to work now give me contact dermatitis, but this is soothing and my skin hasn’t reacted badly whatsoever — I’m even using it as a face moisturizer now. Also didn’t realize when I purchased that this is made by a smaller, Oregon-based company. Love it and highly recommend!

If I had to recommend this to someone I would not. The smell I just can’t put my finger on but it’s like aloe with some other stench that I cannot deal with. I ended up returning with item. The cool feeling it gives was interesting(may not be for everyone) but the smell was bad and it did not smooth my dry skin. I have had severe dry skin from taking care of 3 sick kiddos and I took 5 squirts of this stuff and it did not work. I have been using my kid’s Earth Mama orange & vanilla lotion b/c I love their lotion. It really does sooth dry skin. I can use 1 or 2 squirts of it to soothe my skin in comparison to this one still not working after 5+ squirts. The only thing I don’t care for, again, is the smell. The orange smell of the baby lotion is overpowering but it’s at least manageable. This body butter lotion scent is not manageable for me. I do not wear perfume and all of my shampoo & lotions are organic and most are unscented and natural. I am highly sensitive to smells so to some this smell may be just fine. If you are highly sensitive to smells you may want to find an alternative as well. I guess I’ll keep using my kid’s lotion until the unscented baby lotion is being sold to other retailers. It is way too expensive on their website! Really hoping it works as good as this vanilla orange one does, though!!

Used this product every day until the day I gave birth. Not only did it smell really great (and very light in scent for my pregnant self). I actually never got any stretch marks, I did pair this one with some vitamin e oil, but have to give this one credit. The product was creamy and left no oily residue. Lasted me 7 months of my pregnancy too!

  4. Happy

I’ve been using this about a week and am enjoying the scent, moisturizing and absorption. Feels like a good bit of daily self care. No idea yet if it will help with stretch marks or pregnancy itch since I’m not quite there yet. But so far so good!

The only cream that has made my belly soft! Third pregnancy and desperate for something soothing. Great smell, absorbs easily, leaves skin smooth and not itchy. Great buy.

I’ll start off by saying that, there are no miracles for preventing stretch marks. I’m a STM. I’m currently 5 months pregnant with my second kiddo. Amazon stopped selling my previous belly butter from my last pregnancy so I found this product on Amazon. While stretch marks are genetic, I find that using belly butter keeps your skin from itching and generally feeling good as your body starts to expand. I’m pleased to say that I love this product. It is moisturizing but not greasy, I actually put a few drops of my body oil in with it when applying it so that it is a little more moisturizing. It comes in a pump which I find super convenient, most belly butters you have to scoop them out of container. I’m also very sensitive to smells and find most products repulsive, this product has a nice light citrus smell to it but is not overpowering. The product says that there are no artificial fragrances in this product and I believe them, it just smells light and fresh. The bottle advertises that it is a rich, moisturizing lotion to help ease skin which I believe is spot on. I’ve supplied a picture of the back so you can see the ingredients. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Hands down best lotion for mommy to be! My sis in law recommended it and I will always use this! Non toxic, no horrible smell and not sticky. I’ve been using this since becoming pregnant, I am now 30 weeks and still obsessed! I have zero stretch marks. Not sure if it’s just my body or if it’s the lotion but this is great!

  8. HCP

Love the mild, sweet smell of this cream and it does a good job moisturizing. Not too heavy, good for every day use after a shower. Good choice for expecting moms

  9. Kathryn

I’m obsessed with this belly butter!! I honestly use it on my whole body since my skin is starting to get really dry and itchy. It instantly helps relieve the dryness and leaves my skin looking super moisturized! It has a really nice smell that I want to say is almost citrusy!

  10. Aylin

Really love this even for a regular moisturizer. I use it on my legs because it’s better than anything else I’ve ever used, keeps the skin soft and moisturized. Love the smell even though some smells bother me, this didn’t. Smells like creamsicle. I will keep using after baby comes.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden vor allem mit dem Inhalt. Der Geruch ist sehr angenehm und fühlt sich an der Haut sehr angenehm. Ich kann sehr sehr gerne weiterempfehlem…

I am giving it 5 stars for now. We will see if anything changes after I give birth. But for now, I am 31 weeks pregnant and have been using it almost every day for three weeks. I have a small frame, so my stomach is constantly being stretched outwards, but I have yet to see any stretch marks that weren’t already there. My family assures me that they all get stretch marks no matter what…we shall see! I know my skin has become dry and tight, but this lotion seems to help out a lot. Plus is smells delicious! I joke that it smells like fruit loops cereal, but I think it’s just the orange and vanilla in it! I also found out that it aids in sunburn relief. I am fair skinned and tend to burn easily. I burned earlier this summer and tried using typical aloe vera lotion(which turns out, has hardly any aloe oil in it at all), but I still peeled. I burned again later after I got this lotion, so I tried this instead of the other, and I didn’t peel hardly at all, and was left with a nice glow! I noticed it’s first ingredient was organic aloe vera leaf juice and that it has sunflower seed oil as well as red raspberry seed oil–which have natural SPF in them! I recommend this product to anyone! My husband even uses it because it feels like and smells good!

Really lovely cream I used throughout pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks and to soothe my itching skin. It smells like chocolate orange, which I actually really liked. I only used it at bedtime though and not during the day in case it set off my morning sickness, although it never did.
    Definitely recommend.
