La consistencia es muy ligera, me gusto mucho. No obstruye los poros. Me la recete el dermatólogo para hidratar la piel ya que usaba un gel que me resecaba mucho el rostro. No siento que me haya ayudado para los puntos negros. Se me hace algo costosa para la cantidad de producto.

I have been ordering Avène’s Clearance Hydra soothing cream on auto-ship for about a year and a half. This last one I received smells totally different. It doesn’t have the typical scent, it smells more like chemicals. I hope Avéne hasn’t changed their formula. I also use the Hydrance Aqua-Gel and that still smells like their usual scent, so I don’t know…

I’m just amazed by how well built is this bottle made. I have two grown German Shepard dogs, got the delivery thrown in the yard while I was at work. Obviously the dogs went for it, but look at the pictures I mean, WOW. Not one single drop came out of that bottle. And obviously great product for the skin. I love it.

I’ve been using this product for 3 years and it still works great. I have rosacea and this help with the redness and the flare ups. I also have very sensitive skin and this is very gentle on the skin.

This hydrator is not just for acne prone skin. I originally tried this because I was looking for something extremely gentle. I have combination dry, dehydrated and slightly irritated skin, probably due to the hot California sun and dry desert air. After my first application my skin felt immediately hydrated, the product instantly absorbed. I like that this moisturizer does not feel heavy but adds a moist pliability to the skin. Its like that dewy fresh feeling right after you wash your face. I’m actually addicted to this moisturizer now.
Also, this product did not break me out in the slightest. It calms the skin and is not heavy.

This cream has been a great basic moisturizer for use with acne creams (.25% tretinoin, in my case). You may notice some reviewers saying it’s fake because of the blue cap and the fact that it just says “soothing,” but that’s the new packaging. You can see that on the Avene website.
This doesn’t have the “luxe” feel of some other brands, but this did the job by keeping my skin moisturized and acne free. When I am in the mood to buy something else, I usually buy something else, but this is the best budget option – definitely better than any of the drugstore brands.
